    Getting Big!

What's going on people. I'm 20 years young, going to school, living the average life. I'm a pretty skinny guy and decided its time to change that up!
    Age: 20
    Height: 6'0
    Weight: 145
    BMI: 14%
    Creatine Monohydrate
Protein (post workout + before bed)

I decided to start out with a 3 day a week full body routine. Here goes day 1 (3/18/2013):
    Squats: Set 1: 90lbs X 10 reps
    Sets 2-4: 115lbs X 10 reps
    Set 5: 135 X 10 reps

Bent over BB rows: Sets 1-3 30lbs X 10 reps
    Set 4: 40lbs X 10 reps

Bench: 75lbs 5 sets X 8 reps (last set was very tough. Hope to improve on this fast

    Military Press: 30 lbs 4 sets X 10 reps

Standing Calf Raise: set 1: 45 lbs X 15 reps
    Sets 2-4: 60lbs X 15 reps

    BB Curls: 40lbs 2 sets X 10 reps

    Skullcrushers: set 1: 30lbs X 10 reps
    Set 2: 40lbs X 10 reps

any input would be appreciated, any tips or anything you feel might help me out, let me know! My motivation level is pretty high atm but perhaps updating this will keep that motivation high!

I read that when begining the BB process its better to do full body with exercises that focus on the major muscles to develop better overall strength. Seems logical to me but why do you say I should do a split?
