Very impressive in a interview he used to bench 500+ pounds but stopped to prevent injuries.

seems almost all top bodybuilders have been really strong, and lifting heavy earlier in their careers, but switched to lighter training later on to reduce risk of injury. most of them are still strong ofc but not doing as much heavy squats, deadlifts, benchpresses etc.

go forward to 11 mins for much awkward hilarity as Rychlak gets squashed live on the olympia stage..
I give heath some props for that effort, even with the half reps I'm surprised he got that many, as for freeman lol just lol..
Unless there is actual video, i wouldn't believe hardly any of what the top guys claim in the mags. Cutler reckoned he was doing 700 pound atg squats within a year or two of working out. Then you see branch and jackson struggling with pathetic reps with 3 or 4 plates in their leg training vid..

I'm glad you asked. Recently Gsp defeated Nick Diaz by take down then controlling him on the ground. Nick Diaz felt upset that he won by doing this and felt the rules were unfair allowing him to not have to push the pace of the fight like they did in an older organization Pride fc. This relates because people in this thread felt it was unfair for someone to do the bare minimum of the rep for it to count the same as a full rep, thus a similar story of controversy.
