Hey ladies.
So, I have super dark eyebrows and out of sheer laziness etc I've stopped wearing eyeliner. Problem is, my eyelashes aren't that dark and are a bit thin so my eyes now look "lost" under my eyebrows.
Has anyone had their lashes tinted/darkened? How was the result? If not does anyone have any recommendations for a REALLY black, volumising mascara?

I have tinted mine before but mascara is better as it thickens your lashes too (which is good if your lashes are long but fine). We probably get different cosmetics here in Australia than you do wherever you are, but I have been using Maybelline 'Full and Soft' mascara for years, it never goes clumpy and has a really nice brush.

I tried buying random mascaras to experiment each time I needed one. But I find that "Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara" works best for me, now I always get that one. It's volumizing, and the brush is much easier for me to apply.
I like to wear pencil eyeliner only on my upper eye waterline though, it just defines and makes my eyes pop out more, and it looks like I am not wearing any makeup lol.

Lol, I'm a blond and dye my hair and eyebrows black. My poor little eyelashes never stand out because I don't have enough time to put on makeup in the morning before work. I wear mascara on the weekend though.
I, too, am a fan of lancome, but that junk is too expensive. I like Maybelline colossal lash.

Yep. I do get eyelashes tinted. The only problem is the color only lasts a few weeks so it can get expensive.
Tinting won't thicken tho. I use some brand from Avon. It works okay. Can't think of the name. It's in a purple tube.
Fake eyelashes are also a choice if you have the time. You can buy them in varying lengths/thickness so they don't have to look fake.

lol at the above two conflicting thoughts!
Una, they are like hair extensions! They last about 6 weeks or something and then you have to have them redone. I've never tried them but one of the Brides I did make-up for had them and they looked great in comparison to her naturally short lashes.
My concern would be that they might damage the quality of your natural lashes, not unlike nails with acrylics...

I have had eyelash extensions a few times. They only look good for the first 2-3 weeks and then you need to have them "filled". The whole thing gets quite expensive after awhile but they do look amazing when done right.
I also dye my lashes regularly. My lashes are long, but the ends are blonde. The dye shows off my whole lash and I don't mind them not being thicker unless I'm going out for a night. Try the blue/black instead of black if you go for the dye.
I am doing Latisse now as well (3 weeks) lashes are longer but not thicker or darker yet.Being weak is a choice. So is being strong.

Eyelash tinting is great! I did a Beauty Therapist course a couple years ago where I learning to tint lashes, I so prefer it to mascara! You can buy kits to do it yourself but if you're not confidant go to a salon, it's not very expensive at all in any of the places I've seen it advertised. Of course I live in the UK I'm not sure what salons are like where you are

I'm a huge fan of Urban Decay's Lush Lash mascara, and the Lush Lash growing serum/mask. It's a little pricy but it does exactly what it's advertised to do which is help your eye lashes grow thicker and longer. I was having problems with my eyelashes breaking off and falling out a couple of years ago and starting using this stuff and it worked like a charm. My eyelashes are so blonde they're see-through and this mascara is very, very black. Makes my eyelashes full and thick and the intensity of the pigment makes my eye color really pop.

I would never dye or get extensions...I use Loreal and no curler cause it can pull them out. My lashes are long and touch my eyebrows...partly genetics partly not fkn with them.
I have no idea what I'm doing, I just fkking do it.
If it's hard that just means you need to do it more until it isn't.
