    8 months? what happened to your back? i thought the worst injury ever was ACL and that's 6 months of off time. dang, injuries really do set people back nearly a whole year. I guess when you're on gear though you can recover extremely quickly :/

    It gives people the shock factor. I was always covered up until I started prepping and then I would show off a bit more and people were like "wtf how did u get this muscle" lol My arms look good with a pump when they are at my side (in reality they are tiny), so I wait until I got a pump.

    From the bicep, I could train it but only very lightly + had to avoid shrugs, pull ups etc so it shrunk quite a lot. The bicep itself was fine though (size wise)

    I imagine you to be rather awkward tbh

    yeah, i understand. when I prepped last year, I was always wearing stringers, but in public places other than the gym (like school, grocery store, etc), I would always wear a sleeved shirt. Only until right after the show did I go full force wearing tank tops in public everywhere, felt good man

    all these injuries are muscles/tendons? and not even doing heavy weight?

    2. bicep no, chest was too much rom on db bench I think, tri is just a minor tweak, pain is gone already, should be good to start rehabbing in the next week

    I can't stand wearing long pants to the gym, sometimes I'll wear a hoodie but the majority i just wear shorts and singlet. Sometimes a t shirt on leg day, but that's about it.

    I sweat like crazy when I workout and the more clothing I have, the more it drips everywhere. The gym owner mentioned it to me that people (I don't know who or how many) had actually complained about me dripping over the floor and leaving sweat on the mirror...that was because I was doing dumbbell rows in front of the mirror and I breathed out my mouth upwards and the sweat on my face went all over the mirror.

    So yeah. I still sweat a lot in a singlet but it's easier to get rid of it and doesn't start as quickly. lol

    ^ I sweat so much too. Puddles. And when I leave a machine it's soaked in sweat. I should start carrying paper towels lol, I usually just wipe some with my hand.

    All I ever did for calves was standing calf raises and leg press raises (heavy.)

    On the leg press I went quite heavy and did sets of 50. Goddamn, those were the days. Hahahaha.

    I should train them now probably, but I'm not too worried about them so I don't bother xD

    Now I train legs like once a fortnight, felt uncomfortable when they were bigger so I don't train them all the time anymore.

    Honestly man, I don't think 5 percent of humans even work out, let alone are interested in bodybuilding and strive for that kind of physique. Probably 0.00001 percent of people actually compete too and get extremely shredded. I'd say it's much lower than 5 percent. Not trying to be conceited at all but I'd take that as an insult if someone said that to me. Idk lol, I've worked too long and hard to still have a worse physique than hundreds of millions of people (5 percent)

    Wow Sammy...well you do know what top 5 percent means I guess. So you would not be happy being in the group of 5 best built guys out of a 100?

    Nothing wrong with striving to improve, but I get the sense you will never be happy with that attitude. We all wake up feeling small or flat sometimes, but the fact is most of us here are better built than most people out there. That is enough to be happy with.

    And way to see the glass half empty...instead of seeing the billions you are better built then, you focus on the millions you might not be better built than. Bad attitude.

    Also keep in mind that while you are right that a lot of people do not work out seriously, millions play sports competitively, which will give them good physiques.

    Even now that working out is mainstream and drugs are widely used by gym rats, i believe 5% is a harsh number in sammys case. Maybe in my case (basing on my country) it could be true. That is if we assume a theoretical ratio between muscle mass and definition as criteria for "better built".

    Well I thought you meant #5 out of 100. Depends on the people you're picking out. If it's only males from like 18-28, then yeah there will be much more lifters. I wouldn't be happy being #5, i mean I put way too much into this. If someone who only plays sports has a better physique That'd make me sad. I'm happy with how I look, but pretty much my only real/ true passion I have in life is to keep competing and become and pro natural bodybuilder and eventually muscle mania or npc Idk.
    I think the people who wanted to be the best in the world had to look at it like that. They wanted to be better than everyone. You think a pro athlete didn't want to be better than everyone else? I mean to be a pro athlete you'd probably need that mentality. I'm not trying to compare myself to any pro, unfortunately cause as a natural I'd never be taken seriously lol.

    Idk it's hard to explain.
