# Thread: 1-2grams of protein per bodyweight for bulking?

1. ## 1-2grams of protein per bodyweight for bulking?

I weigh 150, so if i were to have lets say at most 2 grams of protein per bodyweight how many grams of protein a day would i be having? 300g, because 150x2 = 300? or am i doing it wrong.

125 grams of protein is likely (more than) sufficient.

True, but a full gram f per pound is just an easier number to work with--a measly 25 grams protein is splitting hairs.

I think most people can handle the math or at least know how to use a calculator.

Giving exaggerated numbers because one assumes folks can't multiple two numbers seems...sad.

9. eat a little bit of a surplus incase theres days where u dont get enough

its not going to hurt it can only help
