What up everyone! I will get straight to the point. I am an ex BB'er (never competed) who is now fallen in love with PL. I plan to bust my a** and give it everything I got.

Overall I was very happy with the 1,225 but honestly I feel I had 1,300. I was a bit unlucky on my final deadlift and I really didn't account for the added spring with the knee wraps on squats. Next time
If all goes well I will be doing the UPA meet on July 20-21, 2013 in Dubuque, IA. Goal will be at least hit 1,300 @ the 198 class even tho I was only 188. Not sure I want to dip down to the 181 or just bulk up and stay at the 198.
This log really won't get going till this weekend most likely but I just wanted to get some thing up!
Just for a reference point here are my numbers as of today :
Current gym PR's / Meet PR's
Squat-- 400/405
Bench-- 315/300
Deadlift-- 545/520
End of 2013 goals
Squat - 470
Bench - 330
Deadlift - 600
Total = 1,400

Everybody will have a different opinion on this, but it doesn't really matter much just pic a program and stick to it.

Here is what I see with 5/3/1...
This is the 1st wave if I just look at Bench:
Week 1 220 x 5 reps 235 x 5 reps 250 x 5 to failure
Week 2 235 x 3 reps 250 x 3 reps 265 x3 to failure
Week 3 220 x 5 reps 250 x 3 reps 280 x 1 to failure
Week 4 120 x 5 reps 150 x 5 reps 175 x 5 reps
Example of what I was doing:
% of Max Reps Weight
60% 8 185.00
75% 6 230.00
85% 4 260.00
90% 3 275.00
90% 3 275.00
90% 3 275.00
80% Max 245.00
Overall it just seems like less work?
