The charge was correct, it was murder. Apparently there hasn't been a sentencing yet but I'd be willing to bet that, considering the circumstances, he'll be eligible for parole in about a decade, and will probably get it.

Doesn't sound like murder, but the fact the gun can't be found is really damaging to his case. It looks like he has something to hide. Understandably, rage is gonna be there, but his actions seem sketchy to the D.A.

Drunk driving kid deserved it.

Intentionally driving when drunk (AKA "I know I might kill people or myself driving drunk), kills two young kids who had a life going for them later on, and then later the drunk driving kid gets shot in the end.

ive seen countless cases where black people got small sentences when they deserved more or cases where they obviously were guilty but got off for bullchit reasons.
blacks and whites have it the easiest in the court of the law RIGHT NOW.

have there been cases where blacks were screwed? yes, but the vast majority of those cases are from a bygone era(pre 80s). court system has been busy making up for past grievances for a while now, nom sayan.

The problem is, from what I understand is that the father went home, got his gun and then returned back and shot the guy. Everything here suggests that it was 100% premeditated. If he had just pulled a gun out and shot him, it may have gotten reduced to manslaughter.

I probably would have done the same thing, but unfortunately it is what it is.
