I am 6’4 and about 225 lbs. with about 10- 12 % body fat. I was curious at what weight should I compete at if I was to enter a “Men's Physique Competition” and what is the ideal body fat percentage? I am extremely interested in competing but I have no idea on how to peruse it.

This is a tough question to answer, as almost every show seems to have a different judging criteria. Generally MP guys are in the 6-8% range. But judges really seem to care more about how you present yourself on stage rather than your actual physique. Obviously you want to be in good shape, but it's more about having fun and projecting that on the stage. Don't focus on your weight, just concentrate on bringing your BF down a bit. You're weight wont matter because classes are based on height, not weight anyway. Give it a shot, just go and have fun. You will learn a lot just being at a show.
