It seems like everyone in the Misc buys their chicken breast for $1-2/lb.
The Wal-mart's near me are around $3-4/lb and grocery stores and meat shops are around the same, slightly higher. I'd buy a ridiculous amount of chicken breast if I could get it for $1-2/lb.

I live in Portland and these are the prices are boneless/skinless chix breasts:
WinCo - 1.89/lb
CostCo - 1.89/lb, very good quality
Safeway and Albertson's at least once a week - $1.69/lb
Stuff isn't even cheap here. Maybe you need to shop better broh. A 25g serving of protein should never cost more than $0.50 IMO.

People still eat chicken breast specifically?
Meh, give me a whole chicken, don't bs me with the least tasty part. Better yet, give me some fatty pork or beef.Owner of:

Don't come to Australia for starters.
If you can find chicken breast here for much less than $10/kg you're doing well, I've seen a LOT of places charging double that too. You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel.

lol @ $3-4/lb not being cheap. It's $7/lb regularly here. We sometimes get sales where it's $2.5-3/lb.
“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”
