Hey Guys,
Since I can't find good calipers that I trust, and I don't trust electronic scales or BMI, I'd like you all to please rate my bodyfat percentage. Please be very critical, and guess on the high end. I'm trying to get as realistic a number as possible so I can get a realistic timeframe for my goal. My goal is to improve my lifts (and cardio health) while lowering my BF. I'm not concerned with how much I weigh at the end.
Lifts, current:
Bench: 245x5
Squats: 275x5
DL: 315x5
BF: ??? (where you guys come in. I'd guess 14%)
Looking to get them to:
Bench: 315x5
Squats: 315x10
DL: 405x5
BF: 8%
What would you guys recommend as a realistic time frame for this goal? I'm thinking 1 to 1.5 years. I'm very confident that I can get my nutrition and workouts next to perfect, so assume good nutrition (including necessary supplementation) and good work outs for the majority of the time (I do drink/binge on weekends occasionally, but maybe only 2-3 times per month).
Thanks for the help BB.com! Been a proud member since 2008.

14%, those goals will require some serious strength increases. And to get that much stronger, without being able to eat everything in sight because you want to lose body fat, is going to be tough. I think 2 years is a more reasonable goal, and that will even take a lot of work. Not saying it is impossible, but will take some serious dedication to diet and lifting. Embrace the challenge and meat your goals! Good luck!
Bench: 335x1
Dead: 425x1
Squat: 360x1
