No, you're not.
Normally when someone wants to be self destructive, this doesn't bother me as everyone should live their life as they see fit. The caveat being that a self destructive lifestyle doesn't hurt other people.
Your brother has issues. He has an eating disorder characterized by his disordered eating habits. He performs little rituals around food such as eating every 2 hours. He labels foods as "good" and "bad" and is more concerned about eating a virtuous diet than looking at foods at face value.
I'm willing to bet that your brother would be in a nervous wreck if his precious foods or rituals were thrown off balance. This is also why he creates a bubble to secure his world and eliminate outside influences. I remember in one video he proudly states that he turned down sex so he could squeeze in an extra meal. This isn't something to be proud of, this is just sad.
This is also why he gets his jimmies rustled so much when presented with truth and science based arguments because it would be too much of a blow to his ego to accept that much of his stupidity is unfounded and stems from a masochistic eating disorder.
He also has body image disorders to go along with his eating disorder, and this is justification for him to inject his body with "special vitamins." You really have to cross a huge bridge of denial here when you won't eat certain foods because they may not be super healthy, but you'll inject your body with substances bought from a freelance pharmacist. What a hypocrite!
I don't blame any one for their hardships. Lots of people have eating disorders and they may very well have those issues for the rest of their lives.
Here's the point where I get MY jimmies rustled- When you try to spread this filth and disease as "help" to other people. You are not helping other people, you are promoting disordered eating. Eating disorders can ruin lives. I have seen this first hand both professionally and personally.
So you can stop the "holier than thou art" BS and start taking a look at yourself. Quit justifying your disease and quit infecting people around you. Bodybuilding is one of the greatest endeavors in the world and is one of the best pathways to physical self improvement. Just because you have issues and make it hard on yourself doesn't mean that we have to follow suit.
Or he can just keep telling himself that "he's hardcore and all these softies will never understand his hardcore lifestyle" or he can realize that his hardcore lifestyle has given him years of a masochistic and ritualistic approach to bodybuilding which has yielded him the results we have seen in the pictures posted in this thread.

repped, the truth hurts but it's gotta be sad, i keep seeing these threads pop up and there's really nothing constructive coming out of them...i mean yeah you'll get the occasional post like this or a few others in this thread but the OP is just abrasive and it doesn't do anything but try to start a negative thread....I don't get it.

Just stopping in to congratulate most of the posters in here - you guys are doing great work fighting the dogma and idiocy spread by people like the Pulcinellas. Special props to foodandfitness - dude nailed it.
