It looks interesting. I'm always open to new challanges. However I also have a family, and boys who are buys. Sorry but I will not be doing 2 workouts per day. I just don't have time for that. Maybe I will do 4 weeks of the strength, then 4 weeks of his "Cardio" and see how it goes. Either way I'm not starting anything until April. I'm scheduled to finish up Kris Gethin's 12 week transformation at the end of march. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the reviews. After watching some of the video's, I do like the differences in the excercises. I personally need to incorporate more of a HIIT style after doing a few round of the 12 week + a round of DTP. Time to change things up so they don't get too stale.

Looks pretty ridiculous to me. I would never attempt something like this It's just not practical and looks like overkill.

Two training sessions per day, 5 days a week? It's a quick trip to Burnoutville.

Even more ridiculous than the workout is the nutrition 'plan.'

lol. I just watched the shoulder section last night and that was the kicker for me. I already have instability issues with both of my shoulders to the point where just doing up-right rows I have to be very careful otherwise I will suffer impingment(sp) and be out for a week or so depending on how sloppy I was... Yeah, I don't think this one will happen for me. ykes.

Im a member on his site and used this program.

I got into a pretty decent shape with it. However, I went a bit far and stretched it to about 4-5months and caused diminishing loss.

I would advice to use this program as a prep for about 1-2months, and return back to your normal routine for about 4-6mths before starting mft 28 again.

I follow the nutrition as well, either way its still fitting your macros at the end of the day. Its more convenient for me considering im a student and prefer to keep moving rather than sitting down to chew something.

So as a student you think it makes sense to be consuming a 5lb jug of protein every 8 days? are mom and dad paying for school? and if your paying for his site have you ever considered that all the information he gives on his site most of it I will assume is rambling bro science is probably free from a variety of other sources on the internet?

Does greg know what he is doing? Probably for him, but should a bunch of beginners be attempting and consuming so much supplements. I don't think so.

    I like that word.

Anyhow, I do not wish to enforce my POV as the ONLY WAY OF LIFE. There are many paths for success, this is one of them. If you are going to critique it, it is fine. I understand.

I also understand that there will be micronutrients deficiencies from that protein intake that isnt from a whole food source. You will probably judge again once I say this, he takes 60 pills in the morning - All of the micronutrients/vitamins that are needed.

I am unable to afford that, so I afford a multivitamin + 2 greens product that I take on a daily basis.

There might still be micronutrients deficiencies but you will be able to judge all you want. I understand that this training program and nutrition program is tailored more towards sales (especially on bb.com). But it works.

so do alot of other programs that are free, and dont cost $50+ in supplements a week....

and Ive seen several of gregs vids on Youtube he spits mostly bro science....and his routines are in no way geared towards any sofrt of beginner most who cant even lift enough weight to be bother doing a 1 body part per day routine....

Im not trying to argue with you, im just trying to make sure the OP doesn't waste his time and money on a program with the OBVIOUS goal of selling a boat load of supplements...

I understand where you are coming from and I respect that. I do not mean to offend you in anyway if I actually did. If I did, I apologize for that.

I would say he has about 10% broscience, and 90% motivation. It has helped many through tough times, including I. Greg is still the #1 fitness model for the past 6 years though.

You have your way of life, and you are enjoying it while caring for OP which is awesome IMO.

Looks like pure ****e for most normal human males. Obviously designed to sell a ton of bogus supps.

Might work for you if you are already advanced, take a load of juice, and have nothing else to do but live in the gym.

And then it might only work for a few weeks, before your digestive system rebels.
    Beginners:

Beyond novice, 5 3 1 or see above:)

Unless it is obvious to anyone who isn't blind that you lift weights, you might still benefit from a little more attention to big basic barbell exercises for enough reps:).

I just finished 4 weeks of MFT28, but only did one routine per day instead of the 2 it called for. Work didn't allow the 2 a days, but I saw some kick ass results from the program. Check out the progress pics! Starting DTP tomorrow.
    Thanks,
    Ross Weiler

In the 12 years I have been in the Corps we never did any of that stupid chit. We run, do pull ups and do crunches because we have to. Other than that when we actually use weights on base of while deployed we lift as heavy as we can....why? Because you don;t need to be exhausted from your workout, you need it to be efficient and effective. Nothing like being spent working out in a combat zone then having to go on a patrol...

    Apparently not.

Any program that calls for two a days is one that I count out. I already am paranoid about overtraining on my current ****, let alone that silly stuff. If it works for some people, kick ass.

Hey, congrats on completing the program. Did you stick to the diet? It seems people are doing the workouts, but modifying the diet. Also did you lose weight and how much bodyfat? Thanks.

I just finished mft28 a few days ago and back on my lifts.

For the first 2 weeks i did the 2 a days but it did take a toll on me. was tuff but got great results.
the second 2 weeks i did just the mass workouts.
I followed the diet as much as i could, a few days out of the week i had 2 solid meals.. I did drop body fat and weight while gaining awesome strength.

The results are there, i thought this workout would be way to much just by looking at it. But once i finished the first workout I knew it was possable.. Don't knock it until you try it..

I was sore after every workout i can say that.. I'd do it again, just focused on building strength and mass for now.. You will get in shape after doing mft28..

And yes the diet is pricey but easy.. one big mean and shakes all day.. I'm still doing that unless i'm just too hungry i'll eat a second meal..

Any questions just ask.. I've done it, and you can to.. It'll change your workouts and mind set that is for sure!!
