    Rest Day

    Weight = 159lbs

I feel bloated as anything right now (no BM in 2 days for some reason) so meh not sure where I stand really, think I will weigh in every day for a while as I want to be progressing. My back is in pieces from yesterday but hoping it improves so can do some legs tomorrow

btw weird question I know but does anyone here know anything about:
    Financial Recruitment
    Finanacial PR
    ????

got some stuff thrown my way job / work experience wise and don't have a clue what these occupations need or demand?

    Thx guys

    Wednesday Lower

    OHP 3+

    Weight Weds = 159lbs
    Weight Thurs = 157.8lbs

Weird to say the least as have been 159 for quite a few weigh ins, if I am sub 159 tomorrow I will bump carbs +20 to 380

    Macros = 365/73/183

    OHP
    37.5KG 1x3
    42.5KG 1x3
    47.5KG 1x6 @RPE 9.5 2Reps from last weeks 1+ :O

    Rear Delt Flyes
    10KG 2x8 +2KG - 4Reps

    Workout Notes
Where to begin, Wednesday was interesting to say the least, a real BB'er workout and I have to say my legs have never been more sore lol I understand why people do these kinds of workouts as my legs felt like they were gonna explode after.
OHP 3+ was $$$ I managed +2 reps with 47.5 from last week so couldn't be more happy + turned my singles into doubles with 50KG's. CGBP was hard but good and I am happy I changed to DB rows as they used to be a staple of mine and for some reason I dropped them.

Chiro tomorrow so am hoping that he can put me totally back in place and next week I can start squatting again

weight was odd don't understand how I was sub 158 but tomorrow will bump if am sub 159 as there will be no wheel spinning here

    Train hard all

    So as I said gonna bump cals a bit 70f / 360 now 380c / 180-5p

Went to the Chiro who told me to take the weekend off and hit the weights hard next week
Probably not a bad thing as out of nowhere I now have about 5+ interviews for Internships + Jobs next week in industries I have no clue about lol so I really need to do some research.

Also buying iPad Mini tomorrow so that will be spent fiddling with that

So BB Incline was meh but my BB Bench is steaming ahead so I guess it is to be expected, also didn't manage to get my last meal in yesterday as I passed out at 9 on the sofa and woke up to my alarm at 6am lol so was quite a few Cals short.
Back is still feeling fragile so my lower days this week are not gonna be 3/5/1 they are going to be light squats + DL's followed by non weight bearing leg work.

Today is gonna be spent prepping for tomorrow as I have 2 interviews :P wish me luck!!!!

haha that literally made me lol in the middle of a trading floor today........

    Rest + Interviews Day

    Weight - 157.8lbs hmmmm
Macros - 394/73/197 (NEAT was off the charts)

so had 3 different interviews today and got offered something by all 3 which is of course awesome and now have to try to set them all up so they don't overlap. Would say for who and what they are bit don't think I should be mentioning names etc but I am insanely excited!!!!
Also - huge bonus the commute is not nearly as bad as I thought, 20 mins car + 30min train + 5-15min tube which door to door is nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be, and it should still enable me to hit the gym 3-4x a week as the station is v near my gym.

Back is a total nightmare so tomorrow will be same as last week - Leg Press+DB Lunges+Extensions etc but meh gonna hit it 110%

also gonna weigh in again on Fr+Sat and if weight still hasn't budged at all will bump Carbs & Brotein +10 each

    Train hard all

    10 Minutes Developmental Stretching

    Workout Notes
VERY VERY careful of my lower back today as it is still in bad shape, all in all happy though as all weights are up from a week ago and this workout was done fasted at 2pm (I usually train v early fasted) so can't complain.
Gonna try to do my OHP day tomorrow but will likely wear my belt for most of the work just to take every precaution, Chiro says I can't do DB Rows as it puts strain on 1 side of the body at a time but instead must do BB / Pendlay Rows. Gonna try to book another appointment this week with him to finish off the work on my rib and SI joint.

    Squat Day

    Weight = 159.4
    Macros = 395/71/198

    Warm Up
    5 Minutes Bike
    10 Minutes Foam rolling
10 Minutes of Hip stretching+Mobility work

    Squat 5x5
    WU Sets
    60KG 5x5 - so embarrassing

    Romanian Chair
    BW 4x12

    Leg Press
    125KG 4x6

    Leg Extensions
    85KG 3x10

    Calf Raise
    135KG 3x8

    Cool Down
    5 Minutes Foam rolling
    10 Minutes Developmental Stretching

    Workout Notes
Decided I am literally gonna re-build my squat from the bottom up using this setup:

Squat Day A = 5x5 +2.5-5KG's to the bar every week
Squat Day B = Front Squat 4x8-12 +2.5-5KG's to the bar every week

I think that I tried to jump back in way too fast and did myself a mischief so going right back to basics, skipping DL's for a month or so as thats what did it in the 1st place. Assistance work will be minimal DB Lunges + machines so as to put as little stress on my SI joint and lower back as possible.

Weight is going in the right direction and everything else feels good, can't wait for Monday and 1's bench now

Not sure tbh, today I was stim free and 80 wasn't even a grinder went up pretty smooth, not sure if I had another rep in there though.
Would guess I had 85KG in me T&G not paused thats a whole other game, thinking about it maybe I need to start making my pauses longer on rep work.....

What you reckon you got atm? my all time PR is 100 but I was about 20+KG's heavier lol

    pause at bottom...donotwanttoexperienceunlesstrainingformee t...

think i could get somewhere between 102.5kg and 110kg now

had a real woosh in pressing strength recently, its crazy how that works, you can go for months without any noticeable gain and then suddenly overnight you've stepped up a level

    tasty looking sludge bowl.

And yes best to take this slow and build that volume and weight back up over time so your back is better than ever when you reach and surpass old levels.

for your upper days do you superset or circuit train the accessory work? I have always found that's a quick way to get it done and over in a pretty short amount of time.

Need to use less weight, but it's only accessory work.
the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

    tyty you are too kind

Shaz - thx man one day I will come close to your lower days but for now I just need to catch you on upper lol

FilmBuff - yeah tried doing that today but the problem is I can't do BP + BB Row supersetted because of how the platforms are set up, but meh I think I will superset all accessory work I can + add 1 set to my compounds and just skip arms for the time being.

Fingers crossed so far so good with my back but will have to wait and see tomorrow Happy with how today went form was pretty good on FS although I did fall forward slightly on a few reps but meh overall was good.

Tomorrow = Off Day (got 2 interviews) then will try to do 2 consecutive days of lifting so I can Chiro on Friday

    Workout Notes
Much shorter as I reconfigured accessories so I could superset them (thx for the advice FilmBuff) and was in and out within 60mins which is about 20mins shorter than usual. Last upper body w/o b4 I start my upper deload and I have to say I am very relieved as my shoulders and pecs feel pretty mashed up tbh so gonna be doing lots of mobility work.

Question - when deloading what do you guys do with accessory work?
I am guessing you either cut right back or carry on as normal so was wondering what you guys tend to do?

Tomorrow gonna do some squats and then off to Chiro for hopefully my last session.......

    hope the appointment goes well!
As far as I know no one on a Deload changes there intake I'm sure it's kept the same for your muscles to recover etc
As for accessory work keep it the same as what you was doing but take the weight down from what you normally work at

    Good work on the squats!

    Hope that helped

As far as I know no one on a Deload changes there intake I'm sure it's kept the same for your muscles to recover etc
As for accessory work keep it the same as what you was doing but take the weight down from what you normally work at

    Good work on the squats!

    Hope that helped
    Rest Day
    Weight = 160.2lbs
Macros = 75/395/205 (been sooooo hungry lately and today am just gonna try to hit the top of all my ranges as otherwise I tend to binge)

Appointment was good thx pal so hopefully I am on the road to recovery now! Yes that makes sense re nutrition just wanted to double check that was the case.
Deload wise that sounds like a plan (only deloading upper as haven't done anything heavy on legs for 2+ weeks) so will cut both volume and weight me thinks.

Hows your prep going dude? Last time I checked in I saw gd things

    Workout Notes
OMG watched Brandon Lilly's bench video on bench technique and I really wanted to give it a go as tbh I don't arch or anything when benching and tried it out today:

If you haven't watched this or struggle with technique this is $$$ and I am really exceited to see what incorporating some of these things can do for me, the big difference, even though the weight was light, was how much easier it was to tuck my elbows and keep a consistent barpath os obv I am a 'delt-bencher' as he said.

Start my internship full time tomorrow so will either lift at 6am or late evening me thinks, nxt workout is Tuesday w/ Squat B

I don't know what to de re weight as I am weighing in most days but 1 day could be 9am and the next could be 5.30am, any thoughts?
