Whenever people bring up what Arnold could do today you get people moaning about his legs and saying he wouldn't make an impact etc..but whenever the guy he comprehensively beat (Sergio) is brought up everyone hits out with the "OMG ULTIMATE FREAK" repertoire..what's with all the Arnold hate?

I actually have no idea what he would look like if he were bigger. But imagine a more conditioned, bigger Arnold. He would definitely still look amazing. But with his wide waist, he would have to make sure not to go the way of Ronnie and others in the gut department. And I am sure his legs would have at least kept up with his upper body. His chest and biceps would have been unreal though.

The ifbb just started at that time and the only bbers considered pros were the guys who won mr universe or america or whatever. Joe weider went and found the best guys in the world to qualify and compete in the O, but yeah there was only less than 10 guys competing in the ifbb.

You're right. He didn't train his legs hard whatsoever. I believe he tortured them as much as any other muscle group. His legs just were not up to snuff with some of his upper body. Eh a wide waist doesn't make you have gut. Ronnie actually has an amazing waist if you look at his earlier photos it is very evident. I agree with all the Gunter comparisons. Think it would similar to that.
