    Thumbs up 1/26 Mock Powerlifting Meet



    So I finished my second cycle of my powerlifting training so I did a mock meet to test strength so i can create my future programing accordingly. this isnt something im going to do too often, but PR's do feel nice every now and again


    Squat
    135x5
    185x3
    225x3
    275x2
    300x1
    First Attempt: 320
    Second Attempt: 335(5 pound PR)
    Third Attempt: 350(20 pound PR)
    All made

    Bench
    135x5x2
    155x3

    First Attempt: 220
    Second Attempt: 235(10 pound PR)
    Third Attempt: 250(Missed)

    Deadlift

    Second Attempt: 450(5 pound PR)
    Third Attempt: 465(20 pound PR)
    All Made

    Could use a lot of work on my form for all three lifts but overall im pretty happy with the results and excited to see my growth over the next few months

    -Your sticking point on bench was 2 inches off chest, so that's probably a chest weakness, not tricep.

    thanks man. atm i have more long term goals of deadlifting 500 squatting 400 and benching 275. but overall i just want to get better.

    No reason to be dropping the weight like that on all of the deadlifts but other then that good job.

    However long it takes for you to keep the bar completly motionless on your chest. So if its still sinking into your chest or wobbling around you wont get a press command. Id say averadge pause time is 1-2 seconds.
