IN! I played IPY2 for about a week before they decided to shut down. I also used to play OSI back in '98-'00 on Lake Superior.

We should get a bunch of misc brahs on this server, and even try to bring some new people to see the light that is UO.

Played Lake Superior back then too. I'll probably load this up and play some. UO is probably my favorite game ever.

My internet has been buggy as hell lately so I am getting it looked at tomorrow. Lost connection twice farming Lichs and probably lost a year off my life from the anxiety of wondering if I was dead or not when I logged back in lol

Is it easy to raise magery from 0 to 35 or 40? Not sure if I want to start with magery since I'll mostly use it for recall with this toon. Been a while since I played, but I remember magery being a nightmare to level up.

Didn't realize you could train skills up to 45 in this shard. Nice. Anyway almost GM'd swords tonight, and my character is coming along rather quickly for day one.

Why is there a Quest button on the Paperdoll menu when there are no quests in the game. Is the only thing to do in the game killing stuff and making items to start? I know theres PVP once you get stronger but how about in the early stages?

No real quests in the sense of today's MMO's. This is a true sandbox MMO, so you do what you want to do. Everything is player-ran for the most part so it's up to you to shape the game. I recommend starting a warrior first so that you can start making gold, then you can move into the more expensive and more competitive pvp builds on another character. Or if making things is your thing, start a blacksmith and get to mining, or a tailor and get to shaving sheep for wool lol

I believe the later versions of UO had quests. None of the newer content is enabled on this shard.

Guys we need a house and a guildstone. I already have 20k and 4 powerscrolls +1 provo carp resist and tailoring. 15k each. .. unless someone here needs them. I found a great location right by a mountain just North of X roads leading to bucs den. Eventually it will be an ideal pvp spot. Great mining and logging too. Can either go cheap and get a small house now to save location or pool some gold for a two story or custom.

Farming liches in deceit is going well except the occasional pk jumping me while fighting mobs. ***gots

Only quests are guiding npcs to a new location for like 200gold lol

I say we get a small house & stone as soon as possible to get the ball rolling. When the guild grows, we can expand the real estate. It would be nice to have a community house to share resources. I need to work on lumber jacking, so I can stock up our logs. Also need better weapons & armor, so I don't mind mining for our smiths.

The place I located has just enough room for a large tower. Perfect. Im farming my ass off to save location. I don't think one small house will save the whole plot... We need at least two, unless we can pool something together and get a large brick house or brick house/patio - we are set.

I wish this was t2a instead of UO:R, liked it when tamers could control as much as you want, anyone could buy any animal etc. Also liked Guild Wars/Order & Chaos better then factions. Pre Bulk deeds/power scrolls. When theives could steal everything. Oh well, i'll probably join up this week and start taming.

Gonna start on this tonight. I played UO from the start, and always loved it. Quit around the time WoW came out, but always missed UO. Just to get me started right, what is the basic dexxer template, and what skills to start are most efficient? Been too long to remember.
