u srs kunt?
so expressing one's rights opens the doors to losing them?
this is like saying that talking a lot should result in losing your first amendment rights
i'm guessing because in his state there is probably a law that allows open carry of unloaded long guns
you guys bashing him are completely missing the point
he had a carbine on him and nothing bad happened
guns are just tools, the person who is wielding the tool is the one who is responsible for what happenspr's:
deadliftin: 475
benchin: 325
squatin (parallel): 415
squatin (below parallel): 385
incline dumbbell press: 115*8
front squat: 315

-I can assure you, people can die from getting beaten by a guitar
-There is nothing stopping somebody from going psycho with a guitar, knife, baseball bat, slab of frozen beef, nun-chucks, concealed gun, or whatever else he may have in his possession, and kill many people. Not having an AR1-15 on his back does not mean that everybody around him is safer.

not suprised, at least you admitted it. people shouldnt be comfortable with people walking into shopping malls with rifles its just a horrible idea. i can understand ccw for pistol but there is no legitimate reason you should be walking around a store with a rifle especially if its unloaded. im sure the open carry on unloaded rifles law was actually meant so that people can transport their firearms while going hunting etc. not to be exploited by *******s who just want to walk around with them everywhere for no apparent reason.

the article i founded listed 20 mass shootings by CCL holders in various states since 2007. a mass shooting was defined as 3 or more victims. some of these instances happened inside a persons home, not in public.
i can't find any #s for the total ccl holders in the entire country, but if you applied those 20 shootings to just the # of CCL holders in the state of florida it would be a rate of 0.0023% (20/843,400)

obviously my guitar statement wasn't one to take literal, because it's obvious that it can cause damage but it isn't something that's portrayed as such. perception is a hell of a thing and because of these "problems" with these psychos going around killing people in these massacres or spree killings, it's no doubt that people will feel a little on edge if someone came into a family friendly environment, with that kind of weaponry on their back.
the situation here, has to do with yet again, perception. we all know that any object of any kind, can cause fatal damage to someone if desired but we can all agree that a gun, along with other weapons which aren't in discussion right now, can cause more harm over a shorter period of time. don't you agree?*If you have a personal blog you are looking to get readers to, and want to network with me, get at me in my inbox. I'm not really opinionated on it, I just think there is no use for anyone to own these types of weapons. I can understand handguns and hunting rifles, not easy to go on a killing spree with a bolt action rifle, but I think there should be stronger laws.
Also pretty much all my friends own guns and are very up in arms (pun intended) with everything that's going on.*HTC* crew

i see. i personally think that there may not be a purpose to owning an AR-15, but neither is there a purpose to owning so many other things. also, people overestimate how dangerous an AR-15 actually is. it's semi-automatic, and is definitely not an "assault rifle" like the media makes it out to be. i agree with the stronger laws, except i want more regulation on who gets to own a gun, and not what type of guns people are allowed to own.
with better background and mental checks, we can keep guns out of the hands of unstable people and not infringe upon the rights of ordinary, normal citizens who want to own guns. if we don't have stricter background checks and merely ban AR-15s, mentally unstable people can easily get access to other types of guns such as pistols, while the average citizens are unnecessarily prevented from owning an AR-15.

I agree with a lot of what you posted. Cops need to really crack down on black market gun sales and people who sell guns out of their trunk to anyone, and they should get massive jail time for selling them. I just feel like it's way too easy to take down a ton of people with a semi-auto or any other rifle with a high magazine, and while 90% of people who own them probably break no laws, it still makes it way too easy to kill. Keeping ANY gun out of the wrong hands is the biggest problem though.
Thanks a lot for the rep btw.*HTC* crew

handguns are used to kill far more people then rifles of any type. youre more likely to be killed with a knife, blunt object, or fists/feet then any type of rifle.

also, ar15s are very popular hunting rifles- specifically hogs and other varmint/pests.
