This is VERY hard for me to do, as most of you know, I only had a baby 11 weeks ago. But I've been working very hard, training since 3 weeks after (because I enjoy training, not out of desperation!) and on a calorie deficit from 8 weeks after (I had to make sure my milk was established).
So, here is 5 weeks progress for me. I hope to post lean mean pictures by 6 months!
2012-12-07 the before and 2013-01-18 the after (duh, but just clarifying). 5lb scale change (145-140 and going steady at 1lb a week)

Thanks meg I appreciate it Your journal is very inspirational to me btw, I just don't get much free time to keep up with journals these days, not even my own, LOL
Would Max-OT/a similar split be foolish at this stage? I'm fairly strong underneath all the baby fluff and I've always wanted to try it... but I'm not sure it would be optimal. I'm doing full body right now.

I think you've been lifting consistently long enough, couldn't hurt. I haven't read through Max-OT in many years but I suppose I've considered it for myself at some point since I found the program documentation on an old external hard drive...

Congrats on the new addition to your family.
I think you look great. At 11 weeks post delivery with my 3, I still had people asking me when I was due, and all 3 times it took me over a year, which is when I weaned, to get my ass back in the gym. Gotta hand it to you! I am looking forward to following your progress.

Thanks girls, you've made my day I would really love to give Max-OT a go, thanks Kim I will take your advice!
I remember with my 1st it also took a year to get back to where I was. I never understood those who snapped back in a few weeks lol! I wish! But at least I can feel proud that I had to earn it back

Congratulations on the new addition and I think it is awesome for him to be watching you while you are working out. You look great for just having a baby, and the fact that you have the energy to do it. Great work and keep it up; you will meet your goals in no time

I wish I had looked as good as you at 11 weeks pp! Best of luck to you - I have no doubt you'll do great and reach your goals. From your posts it's clear you have the knowledge, patience and drive. Max-OT is fun - hope you enjoy it!

My training is very inconsistent b/c of the new baby but I do workout 1-2x a day, always some form of weights (45 minutes or 15 minutes kettlebells if fussy) and then either cardio or power yoga or stretching (1x week). I can't stick to a proper program right now until his napping sorts out but I do work out very hard each day It's sticking to my meal plan 100% that is really ramping up my results though, the exercise is just a bonus stress release for me!

Very visible differences - you're doing a great job. That's a really nice steady rate of loss too. Well done!
