    Where's my MISC runners at?

So never see any threads around here about people going on runs so let's have one. If this generates enough interest could make it into a crew.

Running is a really great way to keep fit and in shape. I've done a half marathon in 2011 which was great after 4 months of running. Now I'm just running 3 miles three times a week.

If you have a smartphone a brilliant app to download and that is free is Endomondo

I run half marathons in the summer. I don't run outside in Colorado in the winter. My fastest time last year was 1:50 or so. Not bad considering I'm not a twig gazelle like most runners.

Just starting to get in to it, I'm a pretty good natural runner, ran just over a 5 minute mile last year without any training. Hope to break into 4 minutes by the spring and compete in some 5k's or half marathons.

One of my NYR's was to start running again and I'm probably gonna be doing a 10k in May so this thread is pretty relevant to me. Did my first run in years today, did 2 miles in 20 mins including warming up and down, feelsbadman. It was also my first time on a treadmill, felt weird as **** for the first few mins until I got used to it, almost fell off a couple of times :/

Don't worry man about times. Just remember every run you do is chipping away and making yourself better.

2 miles in 20 mins is what I normally average at as I'm just getting my distance right outside. I can do 4 miles in 32 minutes normally.

    I run a fair bit.

Been running exclusively in "barefoot" shoes for the last 3 years.

Vibrams are over-rated. Here's what I've been using for the last 2 years: Zemgear.com (the 360's)

10k is my preferred distance and my best time from late last year was 37 minutes.

Says marathon runner's are the only athletes who don't get any cancer other than skin.
I used to enjoy running but sprints just seem better for cardio from what I've heard
