I was looking at it more of I have a larger chance at getting smoked, but yes from that standpoint it would be an awesome thing. Incredibly humbling experience just watching that video, could only imagine how humbling an experience it would be lifting in the same meet with him.

Sorry, i reread my comment. I wasn't trying to imply steroids, but on all of those guys' videos you see everyone accusing them of steroids, but you don't see their family defending them. I just thought it was kind of funny.
But he hasn't competed in 2 years. He could've cycled off of them to pass the drug tests and just maintained his strength, but so could any and every USAPL lifter.
I'm also jelly as fawkBench 402 (ace)/ 385 (440 in slingshot)

I don't see that for those other lifters. Eric for example has been very open about his use for years
He competes in the IPF which is the strictest league we have right now which is much different then open feds with little to no regulation even on a proper lift.
Point is lifting in the IPF is much harder then any other fed
Getting upset that his uncle is trying to defend him when he has competed in drug tested federations his whole career is ridiculous.

One of the ironic things about drug-tested feds is that everyone believes you're clean until you get REALLY strong. I'm a lifetime drug-free lifter, and although I don't often mention it, when I do, people believe me because I'm not THAT strong.
People even believe Ben Rice, who out totals me by 200 lbs, and he competes in non-tested competitions fairly often, and his best performances have been in those non-tested feds.
But when you are really, really, really strong... drug testing doesn't mean anything.
It just makes me question the point of going out of my way to compete drug-tested, since if I ever get really strong no one will distinguish my performance from a non-tested one anyway.637/390tng/615 - belt/wraps, best gym lifts.
600/370/600 - best competition lifts.
575/330/560 - best competition lifts at 181 raw.

IDK man. Maybe there are a lot of people who won't believe you, but the conditions, IMO, speak for themselves. This performance by Norris is, what, tied for 7th among ALL USAPL lifters in the last 6+ years or so? He'd be competitive in pretty much any USAPL meet he entered even if his competition was superheavy weights. I think being able to pass an IPF drug test automatically lowers your total even if the person really is cheating. I highly doubt that a lot of the top guys who compete at the highest levels of untested competition take very much time off. It's not the same thing. I think for anyone that cares about drug use, or strict judging for that matter, an IPF/tested total still means more than an untested one in something like the SPF.
And at the end of the day, they keep separate records for drug tested feds. So even if "they" don't believe you, your name still goes in the record book.www.PowerliftingToWin.com

I'm not getting upset... I dont liek the IPF because their judging is so strict its redicilous. Blane Summers 1000+lbs squat made me hate them even more. If your form isn't perfect they redlight you.
Also the point of a pause on a benchpress is to make sure the bar is motionless, the IPF makes you sit there an extra second or too, like they did for Norris in this video.
But I lift multi-ply and the AWPC is awesome for worldwide lifting, but I like the UPA the most for American powerlifting
The SPF is a joke. Every squat out of there is 2-6 inches above parallel.Bench 402 (ace)/ 385 (440 in slingshot)
