Bishes at registers mirin every time i buy something. I have no idea why people carry/have so much cash lying around. If you're worried about a doomsday type financial melt down having physical assets such as shotguns, farming vehicles, etc., is much smarter.

Most I ever have on me is 20 bucks in loose bills for tipping, etc.

What's the point in keeping physical cash though? Can get stolen, depreciates in value. I keep a few grand in my checking accounts to pay bills and there's a little loose cash sitting in my trading accounts, but as far as physical cash? Less than 20 in my wallet, maybe another 20-40 lying around the house in loose drawers and a few oz's of Au and Ag in 2 safety deposit boxes. See absolutely no point in keeping physical cash on me.
