It is a strong pose for Dorian but an even stronger one for Jay, massive feathered quads and super deep cuts in his abs..no one beats Jay in this pose IMO

No. Jays abs look like theyre melting and there is no taper from lats to waist at all. Dorian displays huge flaring lats going down to tight abs and waist.

Dorian in 'full' mode. As Robbie Sardinia mentioned, the stage pics we see of Dorian are of him coming in FLAT!! Lol makes you think what type of freak we would have seen if he'd have chanced carbing up like today's pros approach it and getting it right, he'd have looked ridiculous.

I remember reading an article or an interview where he said that during his prep, he'd always shoot to be ready for the show 2 weeks out so he could leave some room towards the end in case something unexpected came up, or if any changes needed to be made. So, who knows if that contributed to him coming in looking somewhat flat.

Even in 2011 when he looked pretty bad he still had a good ab thigh, beating Phil pretty comprehensively in this shot I'd say

wow our opinions are completely different on this. I don't see it as a strong pose for jay at all. no real shape, horrible abs. awesome quad in it tho
