    Trap ?

Do traps swell up when worked out like other muscles? I did shoulders tonight and did 4 set 10 reps of dumbbell shrugs and 4 sets of 15 front and reverse smith machine shrugs and traps got a little bigger but didn't swell up like my shoulders did.

Mine always get noticeably swollen after a arm/back day. Dumbell shrugs and upright rows are what I find to make them swell the most, feels good

I use the e-z curl bars, much more comfortable for my wrists and forarms, and I bring it up to a little over my chin

Never seen my traps swell up, and I've worked them out pretty damn hard lol. Guess it just depends on your body.

maybe its wrong to compare trap with shoulder since trap is smaller muscle..
