Senna was probably the greatest F1 driver that ever stepped foot in a formula one car kid.
Not only that, but he was loved by fans and fellow drivers alike. He even helped a fellow teammate by stopped in the middle of a race and getting out to help him.
His driving techniques were unheard of and literally NOBODY drove like he could. This makes him one of a kind and a true champion. Not too mention all the records and wins he accumulated

The greatest sportsman has to also have elite level physical ability, not just technical skill. In this way driving is more of a game than a sport.
Anyone who thinks a golfman or f1 driver is the best ever is a fool. You have to combine conditioning/physical ability AND talent.Mirin'triceps peak? Thanks westside barbell.
Gettin'older, studying MMA in Brazil gonna fight soon, on my own crew.

there must be an intellectual component to being a sportsman.
no NFL running back or NBA player can be considered the greatest sportsman because they have the IQ of a housefly.
to be a good F1 driver (or even golfer as per your example) you need an understanding of physics, mechanics, engineering etc. before you can even begin to get into an F1 car***Not done with my drink till I've crunched all the ice crew***

A Formula1 race is the equivalent of doing intense cardio in a 60 degree celcius sauna that moves around and presses you against the wall of up to 4g's of force which is 4 times your bodyweight crushing you. Then you also have to juggle other drivers, potential rain resulting in a slippy slide at 300 km/h and the rolling disaster who will probably crash into you (grosjean). Plus drivers friggin die. F1 is def one of the most physical sports ever. You might die at anytime and you're doing it in 60 degree heat. Nice
