NYC is awfully expensive when it comes to food. Vegas is either really expensive or really cheap, depending on where you go. I don't mind paying for good food, but don't care for over-priced food.
Everyone staying on track today?Grinding it out and trying to get better.

Tournament Announcement
Good afternoon all,
Well the results are in. So looks like we lost another 25 competitors this week. We are down to 116 from our initial 161 entrants. Before long, we'll be down more than half the beginning entrants. This should motivate you even more to stay focused and stick to your goals!
As we move into our third week, I hope you guys keep up the hard work. You're only 9 weeks away from the finish line! Also, rather than type out all the stats, I'll just post a screen shot from the spreadsheet.

Well, although the scale this week went up a pound, I managed to fit into a button down shirt that I've never been able to fit in since I bought it (ordered it online and figured I'd keep it and it would make me want to lose fat).
Feels good, hopefully there'll be a change in the scales this week. *fingers crossed*- Dave

Yup this is what I figured. Hopefully I lose some weight on the scale this week and don't have to worry about recalculating my calories. The start of this competition for me is basically trying to understand where my calories sit, cause I've never counted calories accurately. Sooner or later I will be certain of being on the right track.
As you said though, I hope it is just water weight, because in a previous post I ate a Subway cheesesteak and a bit of prepackaged flavored rice the 2 days before weigh in. both fit into my macros but hopefully I just held some more water because of it.

I had one weigh in where I gained 0.6 but I knew there was no way I ate too much because I actually ate fewer calories that week and exercised more than previous weeks. Next week I dropped about 4 pounds (normal about 1.5 for me). So I'm guessing that I just had a sodium issue because the Wife made a ham that week and while my calorie intake was good I ate salty ham for 5-6 days.
