Cedric has had a nice long off season and if he dials in the same package he brought to New York a little bit more, he's going to be dangerous.
This. If Dexter comes in looking like he did at the Master's, it will be hard for anyone else to win, even Cedric. If Cedric comes in at his all-time best, he could be a threat to win it though cus of his size advantage while still having excellent proportions. Will be great to see these guys next to each other. Hopefully Nunn gets a fair placing as well.

No Evan fair enough he explained why.

    Where's Curry? Beyeke? Roelly?

Guessing Roelly and beyeke both wanted longer off-seasons, rest and recharge after doing the O, fair enough.

Duno, like I understand why a lot of people aren't doing the show. But where are the names, even up n comers are missing?

    Like...
    Kuclo
    Huh
    Burneika
    Morel
    Delarosa

Is it too much do you think for some of these guys to be asking for an invite at this early stage of their careers? Or even any of the guys who turned pro this year?
Agreed. A lot of the same has-been names that show up every year in various shows looking the same as the year before.

There was a time when the AC had nearly the same draw for competitors as the O. It DOES still offer big purse compared to others, no?

Cash isn't the problem, I think it's just the fact that people don't want to prep twice in the year and competitors feel shafted at the placings.

^^^^This. Contest prep is hell. Between the timing (doing both shows every year would give you VERY little time to make improvements) and the judging, it isn't worth it to prep for both shows.

That could be why. Plus, the Arnold use to offer 6 Olympia qualification spots. Now, apparently, it will only be offering 1.

When there are 6 spots available, you are sure to have one hell of a lineup as a lot of the tops guys will be assured a top spot, which means easy qualification and a lot of cash to go along with it.

Now, qualifying is not a sure thing at all. Why show up to the Arnold where the competition will be fierce? Chances of qualifying are slim. Your prep will have been for nothing.

Much better idea to wait for a 3rd tier show with a lack luster lineup than you can just walk in and take first.
