The only other Cookies & Cream flavor that I have seen good things about was Beverly International’s. I decided to take the plunge on this costly protein, and see if it stacked up.
Mixability & texture:
I used 6oz of water and put it in my blender. It mixed to nearly a sludge consistency! I needed to add a few more ounces to be able to drink it. I thought this was pretty awesome. It is creamy and also has “cookie” bits.
Taste:
This protein can only be described as liquid cookies & cream ice cream. It has a great balance of sweetness and is milky. I was reminded of Talenti Caramel Cookie Crunch Gelato – obviously without the caramel though. For those that want to compare this to Protogen, the difference is that Protogen has a hint of chalkiness.
Final Score:
I had a tough time deciding between Giant Sports and Beverly as my favorite Cookies & Cream flavor to date. I think I prefer Giant’s with a slight margin because of the milkier texture of Beverly. I love ice cream but I really don’t like milk – I know it’s weird. With that said, it had to be rated lower than Giant’s Cookies and Crème.
9.75/10
Comparable Proteins:
-Giant Sports (10/10)
-Protogen (9/10)
If you want to trade me for samples, let me know. I want to try every cookies & cream flavor possible.

Oh man Beverly International! This was the very first brand I ever saw of supplements when I started working out back in 2003. I remember buying Ultra Size and Mass Maker! I loved them back than but like you guys mentioned its a bit pricey.
Up until this year I still had them as best tasting protein I had ever taken.Army Veteran, OEF.

I haven't had any of their proteins since 2007 or 2008. So I can't remember how they would stack up against the Eat Smart and Giant Sports Delicious protein. But I wouldn't doubt that for one second that they are still top of the line!
I call dibs on MN Protein! Put some X-Factor in it =DArmy Veteran, OEF.

Good review, op. Funny too, as I just polished off a jar of Talenti Caramel Cookie Crunch last night, too (fatty's gon fat). Lol. I absolutely love all 3 flavors of UMP, but do think they are just a shade below Giant Sports when it comes to flavor. It's close though. Beverly makes some great stuff!
