    anybody do speed sumo deads? been trying to incorporate both stances into my training as i'm still getting formed dialed in and trying to see which is truly better for me, and the speed sumos just felt very weird to me... it may have been because i don't have a proper deadlift platform to attach my bands to. conventional speed deads with the bands under my feet feel fine, but putting the bands with the speed sumos just feels awkward like it throws off my form.. ended up just switching back to speed conventional tonight's workout.

    Typically when I sumo speed I up the weight and drop the bands, especially since I used to step on each end of a band and wrap it over the middle of the bar, inconvenient as hell.

    Yep. Like judge said. Don't use them if the only way you can set them up is with you feet. You can set them up with two sets of heavy dumbbells though.

I'm also not a fan of the look straight up on the dead or squat really. But on deads I notice people loose position more often looking up like that.

    EDIT: I think reps 2 & 3 might have hit depth. It's hard to tell with black shorts.
