First time ever cutting, im planning on doing a 10-12 week cut before track season and maintaining 7%ish bodyfat mid season for some nice records and hopefully a state champion title for my events
Ive been bulking with 3k-4k calories (usually around 3500, some days more, some days less, average 3500 calories a day), i gained a clean pound a week on average
my maintenance is 3k, heres what i got:
2522 calories
215.7g protein
139.7g fat
114.6g carbs
low carb diet, plan on slowly adding carbs back on the last couple weeks
heres what my meal plan looks like:
--breakfast
2 cups milk
5 slices bacon
scambled eggs (2 large)
--lunch
4 tablespoons of peanutbutter
marathon protein bar
2 oz salami
--dinner:
2x chicken breast
dinner breadroll
--after workout
2x whey protein scoop
4 tablespoons peanutbutter
should i go less fats, maybe more carbs and protein? critique and respond please, it would be greatly appreciated, dinner would be different everday, but the chicken would be substituted with like steak, beef, etc

At 17 you don't have to worry so much about the fat/carb intake, just be sure to get plenty of protien and cutback a little on the portion sizes for your non-protien foods.

Macros look good, intake level good.
. I am assuming your calories are a bit higher because of training for track?
. If your cardio is sedentary or LISS, I would keep fat high. If your doing more MISS or HITT, I would bump carbs up.
. Consider a refeeding pattern if you are going to be keeping low BF levels.
Judging by your avi, sig and post.... I think you'll do well.

I was thinking the same thing..... But again everyone is different. I really need carbs for performance. And this becomes even MORE important the leaner I get. Everyone is different though. You could experiment and see how you feel.
At 17 you are WAAAAAY ahead of the game. I wish I was as knowledgeable about nutrition at your age and had the tools to track and manipulate it.
Nice job
Repped for being so damn smart at your age.....and not coming in here and asking what testbooster to take.RAW lifts

^^ Second. You really got it down for a young guy. Cheers to you bud.
I'm on a few forums and you see that crap all the time about what shortcuts can I take to get big / testboosters and the like. Just annoying that most young kids don't want to even try to do any of the work. #superbertface- Don't get caught up in all the hype. Just lift, eat and rest! -
