For Australian Football stick with doing sprint intervals, the benefits from sprinting shown are great, it builds cardiovascular endurance just as well as long distance running while also taping into your ATP energy system simultaneously building muscle and shedding body fat, sprints are an extremely underrated means of cardiovascular conditioning. When long distance running is done too often you will end up using some muscle as fuel (hence why long distance runners are so slender) mind you a good 5 mile run once or twice a month will only benefit you. Cheers.

Amazing post and very informative content.

Here was a great question from an ISSA SnC assignment. Figured this would be the best place for it.

Describe the physiological adaptations that occur when an athletes trains for 2-weeks in the heat.

In the first week the body makes several adjustments that result in lower heart rate, core temperature , core temperature , and skin temperature when at rest and during submaximal exercise. What is also physiologically happening is increased peripheral conductance , increased plasma volume , increased sweating capacity , and a better distribution of sweat over the skin.

Is it possible to bulk and work on your sport at the same time?

I want to put on about 10 pounds of muscle but I also play basketball. I hear that conditioning hurts bulking. Is that true? I just want to be able to get better at my sport and get bigger. Is there any way too do that?

using weight lifting bench , medicine ball etc for best exercise workout.
If you want to get a full workout in with your free weights, itís helpful to have a bench that allows you to switch positions while keeping proper form.

Sports is the only way were you can build your strength and speed. It will hep you to stay healthy and fit. Running is the part of every sports, and it is main reason where you can enhance your strength and speed.
Sports may include many things like jumping, running, psychical activity, etc. Some sports demand a lot of velocity and swiftness.
