You should know why you want them before you get them.

Bands helped my bench considerably during the summer and fall. The thing that you have to remember with bands is, is that the are much rougher on you then chains and just free weight. I liked how much my bench was progressing that I began to use bands 1 to 2 times a week over a 3 to 4 month period. Yes my bench went up to 450lbs in the gym but now I have a shoulder (anterior delt) issue and it starts to hurt at 315. I know that was my stupidity, but I found out the hard way when it could have been easier. As the previous poster said buy the Westside books
Meet Lifts

Bench- 440

You 1rm 225 and want to use bands already? Why not just jump into a multi ply shirt too.

Make sure you get the short pro strong bands. Anything else is just for beginners. Loop one end of the short strong pro band around one end of the bar on the bench, pull it under the bench and hook the other end around the other end of the bar. Throw two plates on there and go!
Only beginners would use an "average" or "light" band. And all of the minis are for little girls.
