Going to chipotle after the gym, as soon as I get my food and walk to my car some guy walks up to me and tells me some sob story, "hey man I need some money, my 2 kids and my wife and I are stranded we need gas money." I'm a generous guy so I give him a $1, then he sees a $10 in my wallet and says you know how much gas is, lemme get that 10." I bertstared him like I just gave you a $1, i'm a college student I can't be giving out $10 to every phucker that needs cash. He just left without saying thanks so I yelled out "thank you" and ******* just mumbled thanks as he left

Had this happen to me once.

Lady comes up to me at a grocery store. Tells me she needs diapers for her baby but can't afford them as her husband just got laid off. Asked for money. I said no, but I'd go in with her and buy her some.

HUGE thanks, blah blah blah. Grabs diapers. Then grabs a cart and tells me: "There's other things I need too."

Went to Denver recently and the mall area there had lots of people asking for money or food if they saw you carrying a bag of leftovers. Had to constantly tell people no.

Finally, one guy comes up, gets up to me, hands me some sheet detailing how he is stranded, needs some money etc. Wont leave me alone, so I reach into my wallet, get a five and give it to him just so he will leave me the phuck alone. Dude straight eyeballs the contents of my wallet when I have it open.

Frustrating as hell trying to have a good time with people constantly asking you for ****.

actually, i was walking from chick-fil-a to starbucks and i kept hearing "excuse me" from a few feet behind me. ignored it but she followed me 200 feet to starbucks when i finally turned around and visibly annoyed said "what?".

her: "can i ask you a question"
me: bert stare... ..."ask"
her: "thank you! may i bother you for some spare change for gas?"
me: "no"

doesn't matter whether or not she was genuine about her problem. i don't give people my money anymore. i'll provide my time or my skills or services. they'll never get money to do whatever they want with.

One time some guy came up to me at a pizza place in philly asking for a dollar to buy some pizza cause he was starving. I was feeling nice so I asked how much a slice was and he said "2.50" or something, and I was like "get yourself 2 slices bro". Felt pretty good about myself then as I'm walking back to my table I turn around and the guy just leaves the store without even getting anything.

this happened to me as well. going through the drive through one night and some bish comes ovr to my window while im ordering food. i give $5 and tell her good luck or what ever. the bish has the odacity to say 'thats it?' im like wtf u mean thats it while bertstaring her, she starts talking **** about me being a broke loser ect. i lol, get out of my car and grab the $5 back and drive off...my mind was ****in blown at the entire situation

You don't. But I'll drop an extra $5 and say what it's for, and they can make up whatever difference & barista can take what's leftover if it's cheaper. Probably should only do it if you trust the people making your coffee though, lol.

Works well in toll booths too, because you can outright pay for the guy behind and then race away before he can give you a nod of thx. I don't live in an area that has them anymore though.

It's almost a guarantee that someone will come ask you for money when pumping your gas. If someone starts walking to me while pumping, I just say I don't have money before they even have a chance to say anything.
