Being TRULY forever alone, where you have literally never held a girl's hand is a very very dangerous situation. At the very latest, a man should have started playing the field by 18. That only means that you get to know what it's like at the very least to be with a woman. Not just banging her, but how to play the psycological game. 99% of relationships end quickly. We're talking under 2 years. But when you get to your 20s... just LOL. If you have ZERO experience with the psycology of dealing with women in your 20s, you are pretty much screwed I'm afraid. You have to be able to know how to have power in a relationship, and not invest your feelings and emotions completely into a woman until you truly, truly know her to the point where it wouldn't matter if you do anymore...
As a forever alone, you will most likely catch feelings just from getting laid once. That is a very, very steep fall when you are no longer a kid. And chances are that you would struggle even more to meet women after that. And this is jut ONE of the many, many horrible drawbacks to being an island.
I'm not going to end this by saying "get over being forever alone", because only you can make that decision in your head. But the longer you leave it, the worse off you are going to be.
