Carb loading for only half a day?

Ok so im trying something different this time
Im going to be consuming little amounts of water on friday and start my carb up mid day, only having 3-4 meals with carbs (approx 50g of carbs per meal)
This isnt many grams compared to others, but i wanna try something different.

    Questions i have are:
Do you think water should be consumed, if so how much - all naturals are telling me that i should not water deplete.
Also i will have another 1 or 2 carbs meals on saturday morning

can i eat things such as pancakes with berries??

    Thumbs up

The best thing to do is try a trial run of what you are planning to do a week or two prior, then you can adjust as needed. If you are effectively depleted you will need a fair amount of faster acting carb sources. Some water is good, remember sodium + carbohydrates + water = glycogen!

Cutting water and sodium is the single worst peaking mistake next to not getting lean enough to begin with. The number of carbs you are consuming is very small for a male competitor who is fully depleted from dieting. If you were already pretty full and just putting the icing on the cake your plan sounds ok (minus the water cut). But a few hundred grams of carbs probably won't fill you out from dead empty. I think even 500 is a very conservative goal. As for food type, just stick to the same carb sources you have been eating all prep and u won't have to worry about gas and bloat.....unless of course u were gassy and bloated all prep.
