LMAO if this is srs. But I'll bite 1st

Explain how your product inhibits myostatin, with reference to the key molecules in this supp, how they are absorbed and distributed through the body, how the body processes them (e.g. liver/kidney metabolism) the key molecular targets (i.e. specifically naming metabolites or cell receptors) for the supplement and whether the supp inhibits:

    1)myostatin synthesis or
    2) target cell receptor binding to myostatin

If 2...is it a competitive or non-competitive antagonist?

In an effort to identify whether MYO-T12, the active ingredient in MYO-X is actually absorbed orally and pharmaco-kinetically active in the human model, a human study was undertaken. Testing utilized standards for verification with confirmations run by ELISA and quantitations by Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometer using third degree fragmentation. Results showed a predicted zero level of follistatin at baseline with a myostatin level of 46pg/ml. 12 hours after Folstaxan™ dosing, serum follistatin measured 57.1pg/ml with a decline of myostatin to 34pg/ml. 24 hours after the initial dosing, follistatin levels began to predictably drop from the time of initial dosing to 11.4pg/ml. Yet myostatin continued to decline slightly with a 24 hour level of 31pg/ml. These results clearly indicated that MYO-T12, when orally ingested, resulted in detectable serum follistatin. Furthermore, this resultant follistatin presence has significant pharmaco-kinetic activity as shown by the hormonal down-regulation of serum myostatin (Colker C, Absorption profile and hormonal influences of fertile egg yolk ingestion in the human. Journal of the American College of Nutrition, Volume 25, No.5, page 458, Abstract 66; October 2006). Beyond that, precise molecular pharmocokinetic studies at the cellular level on MYO-X have not been performed. But based on the available research on the biologically active sub-fractions, our scientists reason that the action is not based on competitive or non-competitive inhibition at the level of the receptor. Rather the more likely theory is down-regulation of myostatin production intra-cellularly at the level of the DNA.

I'm pretty sure I'll get the "science buffs" in here trying to refute the above, but all I can say is try it. It's like the analogy of driving...I can describe in every detail how to drive, but it's a completely different experience being behind the wheel and actually driving.

Kinda like oral Hgh products (l-dopa, etc etc), this would just be the oral peptide

For the "real" myostatin inhibitors, the delivery is through a viral vector as it is a gene. This isn't about amplifying what you already have; this is about adding genetic material to what you already have. Do yourself a favor and read up on viral vectors and modifying your DNA.

Follistatin has some nasty sides. For one, myostatin inhibition causes a chain of events including the reduction of factors (tgf-beta) that contribute to fibrosis and cartilage /tendon repair. Won't even get started on the immunodeficiency disorders that are induced.

You only need to take it once a day, and as long as you are consistent you are fine with timing. But for optimal results we suggest taking approximately 12-16hrs before you workout....so if you workout at 7P at night, then just take it at 7A around the time you would wake up.

Is there any direct proof that MYO-X helps build more muscle and strength? Any double-blind, placebo controlled studies using trained athletes who, after N weeks of use, gained significantly more lean mass and strength than the placebo group?

If not, then I don't see MYO-X as being any different than the first myostatin scam pulled by Ultimate Nutrition, Biotest, Cytodyne Technologies, and Pinnacle back in 2001. Seeing a reduction in serum myostatin levels is all fine and dandy. But that doesn't necessarily translate into more muscle growth like the advertisements suggest.

is it best taken on an empty stomach, or after a meal? if on empty, how long after a meal is best? how long before or after is it best to take a pre-workout?, is it ok to take other products with myo-x?, test boosters, estrogen blockers, products like erase... i dont think anyone has asked these questions yet., im curious, and would like to try a few bottles.

When you're selling a new supplement that costs over seventy bucks for a month supply, "just try it!" doesn't quite cut it...

We suggest taking first thing in the morning, before breakfast. This times you up pretty well with an afternoon workout, it is important to stay consistent with the time that you take MYO-X. You can compliment MYO-X with other supplements, it works differently from a protein, test booster, and other products, so it can be combined with any other items in your stack. We actually suggest something like T-Bomb II, becuase this will optimize your muscle building, test boosters compliment MYO-X very well.

As far as the pre-workout, this can be taken anytime. We would suggest, that if you take a pre-workout after MYO-X, that you wait about 45 minutes to an hour. Eating food or drinking a shake can sometimes affect the feeling you get from a pre-workout. Please keep in mind that for optimal results we suggest taking MYO-X Approximately 12-16 hours before your workout.

Past myostatin inhibitors marketed as dietary supplements simply didn’t end up working. The problem was that the only data to support their efficacy at inhibiting myostatin was that in a test tube or loosely based on somewhat unrelated animal studies. The main ingredient was a brown sea algae called cystoseira canariensis. The resident expert on the subject of cystoseira canariensis as a purported myostatin inhibitor is a D.S. Willoughby from the Department of Human Performance at Baylor University in Texas. Willoughby reported that cystoseira canariensis in two studies formulas containing cystoseira canariensis had no effect on muscle mass and strength. In addition, these products had no effect on serum myostatin levels. Claims made on this ingredient are based in-large on a single vitro (test tube only) study. Moreover, products that contained it never caught on with consumers because they simply didn’t work.

Furthering the point, the main human study on the product was a miserable failure. It was a 12 week study (double blind) on 22 males who were randomly assigned to one of 2 groups, being placebo of Cystoseira canariensis (specifically 1200mg/day). Both groups underwent rigourous weightlifting training yet showed no difference in outcome between the treatment and the placebo groups. Worse yet, myostatin levels were not even measured. In sharp contrast, MYO-X has been demonstrated to have a clearly understood mechanism of action in the human model and was shown in clinical research to reduce serum myostatin levels in healthy human study subjects.

I apologize for the delay Diesel0022. I wanted to get all the facts straight with Dr. Colker before posting about Folstaxan. I hope that this addresses your question correctly.

Celldyne Biopharma was hired by Dr. Colker to develop Folistaxan, a first generation myostatin inhibitor he invented and patented. The first research using Folistaxan was done in 2006. Though two out of the seven subjects tested were non-responders, the mean change overall in myostatin among the subjects was a myostain reduction by -11.32% in 24 hours.

MYO-T12 (the active ingredient in MYO-X) is much more advanced, concentrated and potent next generation supplement. The new MYO-T12 sample Colker created was 3rd party tested and found to have a potency 6.45 times Celldyne’s version of Folstaxan™.

Colker's latest generation of this product was tested in 10 healthy adult male human subjects while only administering only a single 10 gram serving size (half the amount needed by subjects in the last study for Folistaxan) Use of MYO-T12 caused a staggering 46% drop in myostatin from baseline across all ten subjects, for 100% response rate.

Colker partnered with MHP to increase purity and production capacity for manufacture of MYO-X, so that he could finally bring the only clinically research myostatin inhibitor to the masses.
