Very nice!!
Whenever I see my old threads get resurrected, there are usually two reasons:
a) Patriots resurrect them to trigger libs.
b) Deeks has nothing better to do.
At any rate, I usually train with 22LR. It's the most cost-effective method with the most range time. I have not had any luck acquiring 22LR online or at local gunshops. This above all..

Recently completed my latest Sniper Weapon System (SWS) project.
Remington 700P chambered in 300 win mag, capable of easily hitting targets out to 1200 yards. Complete with HS Precision Stock, muzzle break, large bolt handle to facilitate quicker follow up shots, Leupold Mark 4 steel base and scope rings, tactical scope with target turrets and mildot reticle (so no digital range finder required), sniper sling to help stabilize in positions other than prone, harris swivel bipod, triad cheekpiece with ammo pouch. Rifling is 5R to reduce bullet deformity going through the barrel.
It is heavy and loud. The muzzle break reduces the kick similar to that of shooting .308 (7.62 NATO) or even .223 (5.56 NATO). But it shakes everything around like a canon.
I have been experimenting with different handloads and it is easily capable of sub-MOA groups.

VERY solid rig!
Interesting that the first post in this thread post-inauguration is about a gun - one of many - that will be in the sights of the current zeitgeist for removal from public hands. Why NOT?
