    Question about Light weight, moderate weight, heavy weight?

    My question is what would you consider light, moderate, or heavy weights? Like is there a specific percentage I should go off by of what I can max? or is it a number of reps I can get with a certain weight, if so what are the rep ranges? Sorry if it sounds stupid, but like I always been told light weight is considered anywhere between 15-20 reps, moderate = 8-12, and heavy = 4-6 reps, if there is a certain percentage I could follow off my max what would they be?

    In terms of bodybuilding, it goes more by function than class

    1-4 (heavy) is power.
    5-8 (heavy-moderate) is strength/mass.
    9-12 (moderate) is strength/endurance, and;
    13-15 (light) is endurance, mainly dealing with conditioning.

    Depending on what types of range you are more facilitated towards or have been neglecting, any listed range can illicit progress of a particular function. Some people's endurance will greatly improve after doing heavy sets, while some people will tend to gain mass when performing moderate level.
