hey everyone. i figured i'd finally start a log in this section since it seems this is where most of the serious natural bodybuilders reside. first off.. a little about me
I'm 19, although I'll be 20 in less than a week. I competed in my 1st show last summer, less than a couple weeks after turning 19. it was a NANBF show. great experience overall, I placed 1st place in my novice class and placed a very controversial 2nd in the teens, considering that was definitely the weaker class. I don't wanna seem all bitter about it, but I had a reason to be pretty upset about it at the time. the head judge came up to me after awards and told me point blank, i got robbed. he said when they were announcing winners a few of the judges looked over at each other kinda thinking like wth did we do, and one of them said "yeah... we might have made a mistake here." he tried to explain some of their reasonings behind the placings but i don't wanna get into it. needless to say that just fueled up the fire even more to make sure i come in undefeated at my next show!
i don't have an official show planned yet, but ideally i'd like to compete again next may or june 2012, where I'll be going for my IFPA Pro Card before i turn 21!
I'm currently cutting to get down to a leaner base for this upcoming offseason. I've been going at it for about 11 weeks, and I've gone down from a morning weight of 210 to 186. I'll probably continue cutting for 3-4 more weeks.
here are some of my best lifts that I'm looking to surpass this upcoming offseason, most of them were done at my heaviest unless otherwise noted.
Bench- 365 x 1
Incline BB Bench- 260 x 5
Close Grip Bench- 275 x 6
Incline DB Bench- 100 x 20, 110 x 12 (did this 8 weeks in a calorie deficit)
DB Shoulder Press- 100 x 12
BB Seated Shoulder Press- 175 x 5
Leg Press- 10 PPS x 12
here are some pics from my show last summer, or around contest time at least. i never had an official scale to weigh last year in the morning, i just used the gym scale after a workout so my weight tracking is a lot different compared to this year. i was probably about 165-168 the morning of my show.

thanks dude. i'm aiming to gain 5-6 more lbs. of muscle in my upcoming 6 month offseason.. hopefully that should put on enough improvements to have a good shot at a pro card.
