Halo 4..... Son, I am Disappoint

I had over 54 days played on Halo 2 and it was hand down the best Halo game made. After that in Halo 3 the BR was kind of weaker and the game was alright. But now with reach and 4 we have jetpacks, classes, all these stupid things that make it more noob friendly. You ever wonder why no one plays Halo Reach and is not even top 5 played game on Xbox Live? Halo 4 will be on top for only the first week after that Black ops 2 will reign supreme like it always does every year on the top played games on Xbox Live.

And This. Nothing else needs to be said, sorry brahs.


However on a positive note, I am impressed with BO2 prospecting to bring in a true skill ranking system. Props to them to try and actually make their game better.

So what I am gathering is, since I have never played any Halo games, and I jumped in to 4, I would have a non-biased opinion and think it was pretty awesome?

I guess I am one of those people that liked diversity in games. I don't want to play a game EXACTLY like everyone else. I like having my own play style, and options to customize.

If you have never played any Halos before, for sure by Halo 4! You will probably have a blast. The only reason I have beef with it is because of my previous experiences and what I know will work over a long period of time. I can tell you thought, you might get bored with it after a month. A game should last years. It's like being shredded at 200lbs and going to being shredded at 150lbs losing all your muscle. You're not gonna be satisfied at 150lbs

OP, are you basing your assertion on multiplayer or single?

I've never been a fan of halo on xbox live. My appreciation for Halo comes from the story and lore(read most of the books).

Of course these games are going to be newb friendly...they want anyone regardless of age to be able to pick it up and get a kill and have a good time. It's simple logic, they want to make money. Their is a reason you don't see survival horrors being made very often. (They make almost no money, though they can be incredibly challenging and a great game) People buy stuff they can use. Plain and simple. Do I like it with everything? No. Do I like it with some things, yeah.

Halo 2 was incredibly fun.. I admit to being one of those kids online with a girly voice that would wreck people all the time, but the actual game quality was awful (srs)
