BigBoy2011 Do this ^^^. IMO things can only get worse if you were to ask her why she didn't text you back, because if she has an excuse for not texting you back you will most likely never know if she is telling the truth or not (which would personally really bother me). I've experienced this as well, this girl kept making excuses on why she wasn't texting back and it was obvious she was lying to me. Doesn't feel great, but as lkillen said, just move on.
Anyways I think you should just do what lkillen said...

Anyway's, does not feel too good :P... For me we were texting back and forth during the day for awhile then she had her soccer game, 5 minutes after she told me she had to go for soccer I told her to let me know when she's done & good luck . Never texted me back haha, I'll just talk to her at school. Not going to text her again until we talk at school, good idea?

i'm not very good at texting girls cause now my female number count is 1 (thanx).... what i've found helped keep a conversation going was keeping the txt open to thought... making it interesting and making it so the other person has to think... or at least that's what i think im doing if im doing it right :O
When you start or end a conversation... make it funny or interesting :3 :P :P :PNGU

I'm not the best texter either :P Pretty rattled she never got back to me, but whatever **** happens. I know I did nothing wrong on my part, it's probably just the lack of "connection" if you know what i'm getting at. Which may be the same thing that's happened to you, who knows. All that matters is that if you felt like you've done nothing wrong and that you have tried your best with a girl and she shows nothing in return, she's not one to go for. If you show a genuine interest in a girl and she shows one back, then you may have something.

Take things day by day, there's no need to rush and/or force a conversation upon any girl. Judging by the consistent advice, and your overall persona over the forums, I'm sure you're a great guy irl. Something not so subtle would be eye contact from afar (don't stare into her soul), possibly followed with a smile. Considering you two go to the same church, your views should be alike, which may resemble a possibility of compatibility. I realize you're really eager to strike up a conversation and get her number, but that's not something that should happen the first day or two. Make sure you aren't dressed like a slob (it's church, so I'm sure you look nice), women love a nicely dressed man. When you feel the time is right, casually and confidently approach her. If you feel like she's new to the church or whatever, ask if she's fairly new here and take it from there. Women love to talk about themselves (for the most part), so ask about her hobbies, school, activities.. etc. Be genuine, act interested in her, make eye contact and smile. You're country, I know a lot of women love a southern gentleman. Lastly, be you, if you feel as if things are going well, say, "I've got to run, it was nice meeting you and hopefully we can continue this some other time."
Go with the flow, you don't need to ask for the number after the first encounter. This is also a learning experience, so don't feel bad or discouraged if things don't work out. Best of luck, man.
