Did this a little while after thinking about it some more. I think it went well, we basically talked about what we were up to at the time and school shiz. we are gunna talk again tomorrow. The only thing bothering me is that I'm not sure if she's just trying to be nice be replying to my texts, if she actually doesn't want me talking to her, if she just wants a friend, etc... The list goes on about the things that could go wrong with me talking to her again. I guess only time will tell am i right?

I should probably focus on the positives and keep in mind that she did text me back and we did text back and forth. Just wondering, but how long should i wait before asking her to go do something? Obviously I'll talk to her at school and stuff now, but I'm just not sure how long I should wait before asking because I don't want it to be rushed.

Awesome to here man. You're exactly right in thinking only time will tell. No need to over-think it. That only causes stress, and stress for me means more reps of getting that cookie out of the jar. Can't tell you how long though. If I had to put a time, a week or two. The best way to tell is just when you 'feel' she would be comfortable. Or, if you find (or know) you two have a common interest, just bring it up in conversation that you two should go out and do whatever it may be - less pushy and more inviting. Pro-tip for dates I was once told by a good lady friend: never movies or a lot of food on the first date, she might feel awkward and eating a fair bit literally weighs the girl down. That said, that's exactly what my gf and I did on our first date :P
There a lot of if's and but's when it comes to relationship help though, so all I can really say is you'll be the only person to find the best way to approach your girl and good luck!

You're in the navy, right? Talk about some of the stuff you guys do on deck, or you could ask her questions about herself, hobbies, what she likes, something you have in common, etc.
