I've got all my walls to level 6, cannons to level 8, working on getting all my archer towers to level 8, etc. I guess you're right. Just was thinking of taking advantage of the 1 gem boost thing to get the extra 1.4M but no point in rushing in this game.

I need to do some serious work on my wizard towers lol. I also have no idea on what's a really, really good defensive setup for TH9. Anyone have a sreenshot they'd like to share?

No rush at all to TH10 bro..... srsly. Build up your defenses a lot. Because that's what protects your loot. Raise your TH and raise the cost of searching also. I'm sure you have a ton of stuff to do where you sit now.. Camps? walls? All defence weapons, leveling troops and spells?

my friends 11 year old brother told me to wait till absolutely everything is upgraded before going up in another town hall, and dont be afraid to focus on farming up for the next townhall.

Also check noteworthygames on youtube for advice on how to build your defenses for each townhall jump

eh, i imagine it'll be like when miscers tried to start up 'good game empire'. You would be "at war" with a clan and you could find anyone on their list and attack them. Literally you would have to pepper your angus so their leader didnt fight you, but leaders usually fought leaders and lowbies usually cleared out lowbies

I'd be getting ready for Clan Wars. This means attacking and defending! You need to be a asset to your clan and be able to defend and try and get 3 star victories.

Do you even have X Bows? If yes, those should be at least, at least level 3.

Never gotten a 100% destruction with this set up. It's rare I lose anything over 100k in gold or elixir. Most kunts just lightening spell my DE storage. I'm maxing out my 2 inferno towers right now. I'll work on the Xbow next. Only one of them is maxed.

Some value their time more then watching clocks. Geming for resources is very dumb. But geming to cut down rebuild times..... all good.

In the process of fully upgrading everything to max for TH8, but anyone has a GOOD farming base layout? Been a trial and error for the last week or so with all kinds of layouts. Sometimes it looks like it holds up, only to get 100% destroyed the next attack...

For what its worth:
Wizard towers, cannons, mortars are maxed for th8
Tesla's are all lvl 4
Archer towers, 2/5 are maxed, 3rd one upgrading
Air defense all lvl 4 (yeah i know, need upgrading)
Almost all walls lvl 7.
Maxed out storage, mines, barracks.
Maxed out all troops except dark elixer (DE is a b!tch to farm -.-' )

ANY HELP???!!! Thank you <3

Just know this, I have yet to see a single item make a big difference in this game so far. So even geming something out early doesn't mean you are going to start kicking ass now! Over time it gets a tad easier. So even if you gemed $100, it's not like you are going to go out and destroy everyone in your trophy range. If you have the money to just burn and not miss it. Then cool, otherwise just play it the free way.

theres videos on youtube that explain it.

but basically;

Clanleander/co-lead choose clan to battle (similar strength to your own)
you have 24 hours to setup your base (TH inside walls, etc), donate troops
you have another 24 hours to battle 2 bases and get as many stars as possible
clan with most stars at end of battle day wins loot

clan wars doesnt affect regular game, (ie shield, resources, clan troops, upgrading buildings).

Just get the gems then leave hey brah. At your point in the game dark elixir gains aren't that important so not much point in being in Crystal (srs brah just trying to help )

I have 2.4M saved up right now. Do I save another 1.4M so I can upgrade to TH10 or do I keep upgrading defenses(cannons/wizard towers/etc)???

I would definitely max everything before going to th10 (you don't really need to do walls but I'd say at least to skull walls)
Try and focus on doing xbows and splash first then air defences and then all the other chit

got hit by 10 lvl 3 drags with 1 heal and 3 rage and he only got 170k gold and 113k elixir and no dark elixir out of the 350k available and 2.5k dark elixir available.

last time I was 100% was by 12 max level dragons with 3 heals and 2 rages.

that feel when 1st xbow is upgrading to lvl 2 and the second xbox is only 1 mil away from also being upgraded to lvl2. dat 10 day 5mil upgrade tho.

the boosted mines makes this game 10000x easier.

Although I agree you guys have a few members ahead of us, there's obviously a ton of gemteching *******s in misc ii whereas the true alpha misc is almost entirely natty. Not MiiRing keeping an inactive for months to keep trophies up either lawl.

Like I said in my first post, misc II visibly upset...I suppose it might be hard to understand, but for someone like me, all natty with 5 builders & a couple cannons from maxed th9 (aside walls ofc), who put in work for my base....you can see where I'm coming from.
