I just need to bring the laptop up there and hit up Youtube to make sure I get the powder measure thing installed right (instructions are pretty damn limited, don't want to mess that up), then stick the safety prime on, and I should be good to go. Hope to do that late tonight after the game.
Already deprimed/resized/tumbled some .38 cases the other day

That's what I did, there is currently a decent deal for a Lee Single Stage setup that comes with a lot of the things you will need and it was competitively priced at Cabela's w/ 10% off for military.. I haven't obtained any bullets yet and still need to pickup my powder in order to be able to finish off many rounds I've started on, overall cost to get started is pretty low imo though.

My spreadsheet tells me I would need to load about 5k rounds to break even vs having simply bought the ammo to begin with (.38 and .357). So in theory I reload 5k and it's the same price as having bought them, but then after that the equipment is all "free" and I reload at component cost alone. Number of rounds to break even varies with how you do the accounting. That 5k number is extremely conservative.

Yes. I do.
I am an "Orange Hat" Instructor with the RWVA, and I instruct at the Appleseed events. (just started doing so this year) It is pretty awesome. My current avatar is me taking a brief moment to stop instructing and shoot at a recent event. (ignore the holstered pistol...shooters aren't actually supposed to have any handguns outside of their vehicles at an event, instructor privilege at discretion of shoot boss and the host range)
What would you like to know?

Anyone have experience with the ACE Ultralight stocks? Specifically use with a larger caliber like the 6.5 grendel or 6.8 spc.

There is one coming within a few hours of my location next month and I was thinking of going, I have an AR-15, a Mosin Nagant, and a Saiga AK... Of the three which weapon would be best to take along to work with? Are there any tips or things to know about before attending one of these courses?

Definitely not the mosin. Two of the stages are timed and can be tight, working a bolt during them will be a serious distraction and is not recommended for your first time. Not to mention you will probably lose your natural point of aim when you work the bolt.
A huge portion of the instruction assumes the use of a basic USGI style sling. They are pretty available, eBay has always had them when I looked. Like this: http://www.appleseedstore.flyingcart...pid=10&cat_id=
The shoot boss also generally has some available for purchase at $15 on site.
If you bring the AR or the AK it will be tempting to set the magazine on the ground to use as a monopod. You can do this, but they will try to get you to use a shorter (20 rounds works) magazine and the sling. I recommend this, at least long enough to get comfortable with and confident in the hasty-hasty, hasty, and especially loop sling. A big part of the marksmanship instruction is based on learning the fundamentals, and not every rifle is going to have a magazine you can use as a monopod. Of course, I have shot my AR and I used the magazine as a monopod because that rifle is going to have a 30 round magazine in it, 99% or more of the time, when I use it, and I find that a magazine as a monopod is far more 'field expedient' than a freaking loop sling. But I shot multiple rifleman scores with the sling as instructed before plopping a 30 round mag on the deck.
You will want to bring:
Teachable attitude
Reliable rifle you know how to operate, preferably zero'd for 25 yards (or at least close, you'll have plenty of time to site in and adjust sites Saturday morning)
Rifle is preferably semi auto and fed by a magazine, NOT a tube (you can bring a tube, but they throw a wrench in the works...damn tubes)
At least 2 magazines
Ammo (usually a couple hundred rounds will do for Saturday, noticeably more for Sunday...I've seen round counts of anything from 500-700 for a full Sat/Sun event)
Shooting mat (people get by with stuff as basic as a yoga mat or rug from Walmart, but the Midway USA shooting mat for $50 or so is very nice IMO, and you often see a lot of those)
Lunch. I highly recommend bringing a sack lunch. The people who leave to get lunch are "those guys" that slow up the process. There's a LOT to fit into those two days.
If your rifle has optics, scope, etc, make sure all attachments are on solid and secure, preferably with some thread locker (blue Loctite)
Folding chair
Eye and ear protection
I would consider the above to be the minimum basics. A staple gun is handy. Also a Sharpie. Whatever you need to be out in the weather all day. Appropriate clothing, sunscreen, bug spray, hat, gloves, whatever.

That's not true. 5.7 will out perform 9mm easily withy the right ammo. You just need to know where to look. 2000+fps out of the five seven.
