    weaker

    Was benching 250x7 now ca barely get 3 after a few days and it wasn't just one day its been that was for 3 or 4 days on squats I was doing 365x4 now on my second set of 3 with 335 I can't even do one.


    Its really starting to piss me off and I'm not sure why it happening.


    What I think it might be


    Started taking melatonin b4 bed, could I still be tired from that as I lift in the morning?

    actually upped my cals by 500 and feel weaker

    Maybe you're lifting a high percentage of your 1RM and it's not giving your body enough time to recuperate..I ran into that problem with squats..you do lift pretty heavy with a lot of frequency, but idk..what I consider heavy may not be heavy for you

    Your also into powerlifting, i would head over to the powerlifting section and ask their opinion

    You could also PM a guy named "Martyn" he posts frequently in tbb and he is also a powerlifter, he also lifts just like you. He squats fullbody 6-7 times a week

    I already said fukk that full body bull**** now its more of a upper lower routine.


    @perseus I upped volume and dropped frequcny cuz my joints and I felt a lot stroger for a few days then my strength went to ****

    had this problem with squats a few months back i found that daily stretching helped with recovery and flexibility in true lift and my lifts in general went back up.

    yeah still going for goals just added some volume cuz I had shoulder and knee pain almost rightafter I started full body.

    Ill just take the melatonin a little earlier

    might just be having a bad week. one thing I know for certain that if you're on a caloric surplus you will continue to make strength gains regardless.

    Go back to full body frequency, same thing happened to me, I switched back and my gainzzzxzx went way up.

    Also instead of taking just melatonin take Dymatize GABA. Seriously take it.

    You're asking what is wrong so I'm giving tips/advice on what could be wrong.

    However, even if your body produces it why would it still be considered safe if you take in an abnormally larger dose.
