I started with 5 minutes between sets and ended up around 7 minutes by the 4th and 5th sets lol

Shouldn't do additional lower-body work while on Smolov. I think 225 DL AMRAP constitutes "additional lower-body work"

Notes
* I thought Wednesday night's Smolov session would be tough, because I had just done 380x5x5 Monday night. Hips were still very tight so I took extra time on the elliptical to warm up. Also did extra dynamic stretching - leg kicks, bodyweight squats - to loosen them up. It all worked because my hips were feeling good once I got under the bar.
* I was feeling very strong tonight. Warmups were easy, and even the 370 single flew up. I knew that all I had to do was focus on each rep and I would be able to hit at least the first 405x3.
* That set turned out easier than I had expected. Felt like I had 2 more reps, although the second one would probably be a grinder. The second 405 set was a little harder, mainly because I wasn't as focused on it.
