Hello!
I've recently received 5 protein packages and 6 bars from the Eat Smart line of Isatori to test out. A little about me: I'm 19, 300 lbs and compete in strongman. I have a video in my sig and also a youtube channel under 'Dan Perryman'
I'm thankful for Isatori for letting me try these. I'm going to use the protein powder in the morning as its higher protein/low carb and use the bars in the evening as they have higher carbs/lower fat.

So I had my chocolate chip protein powder and WOW. It is definitely one of the better ones I have tried.
Taste: the taste was very good. It didn't have that overly "artificial" taste that many seem to have. To me, it tasted a little like brownie batter, which is something close to my heart.
Mixability: I didn't have my shaker on me, so I just used a spoon, water, and a cup: and it actually mixed! There were no clumps and it dissolved easily. I was actually very surprised how well it mixed in just a plastic cup.
Ingredients: it has 19 g of protein which is the perfect amount for me in the morning. 9 grams of carbs is usually high for what I do in the morning, but seeing as 3 of those 9 g are fiber, it is definitely acceptable. My 400 incline press at 19 years old:

It's great! Having my carb up right now. Decided to use the eat smart bars, and they fit perfectly! I had the frosted cinnamon caramel crunch and it was delicious! One of the few bars that I could easily get through! It honestly taste like a cinnamon rice crispy bar. And at 36c/27p/9f that is hard to beat! They are extremely convenient.

Yeah I'm carb backloading if you've ever heard of it. I try to get around 400-500 g of carbs on workout days post workouts. Then under 30 g of carbs on non workout days. Try to keep protein 200+ on any day but I don't always do so well lol. An on off days, I try to get fat around 200 g.

Mostly anything with a high GI. I take a post workout shake with 40 g dextrose and protein then wait an hour and try to hit my carbs within 4 hours after workout. I try to keep fat fairly low with carbs until very last meal. That was kinda messy but here's a sample day:
10 am : protein shake/coconut oil
1 pm: 80 g fat/80 g protein
5-7 pm: workout
7 pm :dextrose/protein shake
8-11 pm: high carb/high protein (but last meal around 11 will be higher fat because insulin levels should return to normal by time the fat gets in the system)
As for sleep quality, I definitely don't get the "crash" throughout the day. And I sleep well after all those carb meals hahaMy 400 incline press at 19 years old:

Yep, eating some carbs as we speak! Had a good training session today. The protein powder in the morning helped to keep me full until my first meal, not to mention the taste is great.
Today was lower body day and I did squats with a safety squat bar. It's only my second time using one, but I hit 385 so I'm pretty happy about that!
I had my shake post workout then an hour later had a baked potatoe and my isatori bar! I threw it in the microwave for 15 seconds and it turned out delicious; the macros on it are perfect for Backloading plus it contains hydrolosates which makes it even more optimal! Here is the video of microwaving it. You can see the chocolate melt and how delicious it looks. Dirty microwave is dirty
EDIT: Internet is really slow right now (I'm not at home) but will put video on ASAPLast edited by LiftingSteve93; 02-06-2013 at 08:44 PM.
