Are there any Powerlifting Associations left that Do Not drug test?

Are there any Powerlifting Associations left that Do Not drug test?
After being diagnosed with low T a couple of years ago my doctor put me on test to bring me up to an acceptable level. Now with treatment my Testosterone is staying at 200 which is perfect for my age according to my doctor. I do labs about 2-3 times a year so we do know exactly what my numbers are.
All that being said here is my dilemma. I always have used powerlifting for motivation to keep working hard in the gym. But powerlifting and not competing is not powerlifting. I have been looking around and it seams that all I can find are these drug free powerlifting associations. Is that all that is left? Where can I find a place that will allow me to lift? I really don't care if the guy I'm lifting against is taking anything or wearing a 2 ply or whatever.

    Thanks for any Information
    Dan

You are not looking very hard.

APF and SPF are two of them.

APF is a great choice, it's a WPC affiliate. I lift in the CPF which is the Canadian leg of the WPC and the meets are a really good time. More lifting and less politics, which is the opposite of what you would get in the IPF anyways...

Revolution Powerlifting Syndicate (RPS) has three divisions.

    Amateur (random testing)
    Pro (Non tested)
    Elite (Tested)

and there are a whole host of others that are similar.

like Black_Spit said, the Non-tested feds are likely to outnumber the tested feds.

You may even be able to lift in some of the drug tested federations as well. As long as it's medically prescribed and monitored to stay in normal T levels then that is allowed.

Can you provide references for this? I am battling low test and low thyroid, but still want to compete in USAPL.

I don't know about the USAPL but NASA has a therapeutic waver. Or at least they did and will most likely again. They have it listed as coming back in 2012. I believe I've seen this also in a couple other federations.

USAPL does not have a TUE (therapeutic use exemption) for test as far as I know, but I don't think thyroid meds would be banned.

I'm almost 100% positive becky's right but the tyroid stuff and other meds like insulin you can get a TUE for. There's a kid here in Ga that is diabetic and takes insulin and he got one.

Sorry I guess I am looking in all the wrong places.
about 70% of my search results online have returned with USAPL or rest of the groups have zero mention of testing.

I replied to your PM with this, also posting here: http://apftexas.wordpress.com/2012/0...-october-20th/

In addition to koyongi's suggestion for powerliftingwatch.com when searching via google you can exclude words from a search with a minus sign.

Try googling this: texas powerlifting -usapl
