MF does not affect the properties of items dropped. It simply increases your chances to find rare items. Having high MF does not always guarantee a rare or good items.

So what I'm reading in the quote is that monsters have a set of items they're capable of dropping regardless of what your MF is, so MF does not effect the drop rate but rather the stats the item would have like what Acorn said.

so why are materials and items so low in value now.. weapons that were worth 30mill prepatch are lucky to sell for 1mill now.. i have slashed my inventory by 95% prices and stuff still sits.. on rmah i put items that i had for100 bucks up for now 5 dollars and 0 bids.. materials like fiery bremstones are now down from around 500k to 134k.

Its inflation man...Everything will settle down within a week or two but they wont be at the prices they where. Just gotta give the economy some time to recover

what caused the inflation ?? why do u think people arent buying gear and materials i thought the patch would bring more people back = more people buying **** and producing stuff.. not a drought.

i put up a 900 *** weapon with 120 strength for 35k lol and it wont sell.. i put up 180 crit weapon with over 900 *** on ah for5 bucks no sell.. the game is either dead or something is ****ing the economy up.. nobody buys its redicilous easy to gear up now for hardly any gold cause blizz made it where junk lvl 62 items have equal *** and stats to elite gear pre patch..

You get an Error 3006. The fix tha t worked for me and others is to uncheck "Remember Account Info" at the login screen then retrying your login. Both auction houses are down though.

Didn't work for me. I get as far as it telling me the auction house isn't available and it takes me back to the login screen. Oh well, Guess I'll start my download for CS:GO.

Right. I was looking at those last night, and to get what I have now (when I throw in the stats I currently need to meet the current shoulders on the AH) the prices are just out of this world. Even on the RMAH it's like $30. I splurged and spent a whopping $3.75 on my weapons. lol
