What do you want to discuss, brah?
I'm still in the learning stages, personally, although I do write. I've got the beginnings of a few different stories as well as complete outlines for two. It's a hobby of mine rather than a career goal, but I'm still reading about it. I enjoy watching movies/television now that I know more about screenwriting. It's fun to think about what was going on in the writer's mind when he wrote a certain scene or line. You pick up on smaller details. You also become somewhat critical. "If this is getting made, I made as well give it a shot". I know it's not that easy, though. Connections, marketability, getting an agent, etc. all play their part.
I like writing, though. I'd rather keep going to school, devleop my skills on the side, and put 100% effort into it when school gets out for winter break.
Do you read any plays at all?

Anyone have any input on how one would get an agent?
For those who are not in the industry, is this basically impossible?
Just trying to brainstorm ways to have a script read/looked at.
From my understanding, unless you have an agent or some connection into the industry, you're basically S.O.L.Architect, Marine Biologist, Importer-Exporter, Latex Manufacturing.
