    So I want to compete for the first time...

    Where in Gods name do I start?

    I have been extremely motivated for the last 8 months to get in to shape, and now I want to put it on the stage. I have never competed before, and it just seems there are so many different competitions and classes. I figured this would be the place to find out what I should be looking for and where.

    27. 181lbs. Current bf% 11-13. My pictures are not current, but I have leaned out some more and added size to my traps especially. I currently live in New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia.

    I would greatly appreciate any helpful links or information on contests coming up in 2013(probably open amateurs?). What classes should I compete in? Opinions? Motivation?
